Mytour editors Leslie Corona, Muzam Agha, and Amy Maclin discuss everything from teeth plaque to nostalgic school programs where we had to gargle pure fluoride, and even the long-term impact of La Croix on your smile. Leslie then nerds out over the episode's star guest, Bethenny Frankel, who doesn’t shy away from the dental debate. Celebrities Monica Padman and Tabitha Brown also weigh in, and towards the end, Sally Cram, DDS, spokesperson for the American Dental Association, clears up when you should truly brush your teeth.

Bethenny Frankel on Morning Dental Routine
I'm all for brushing your teeth as soon as you wake up. It’s the right way to kick off the day and not act like a savage, often before even having coffee. The idea of consuming anything—be it food or drink—on top of the nasty remnants of last night's mouth is just revolting. It’s like applying makeup to a face that’s already made up. It’s just gross.
