While sharing your computer's screen via OS X and iOS is straightforward, it's not as simple with your iPhone or iPad. Thankfully, entrepreneur Matt Galligan has found a clever method that provides an easy solution.
The procedure is fairly straightforward, and you can watch the video above for a demonstration. If you prefer written instructions, continue reading below. But first, make sure you have the following items:
An iPhone 4s, iPad 2, or the latest iPad (3rd generation).
A Mac with OS X 10.6.8 or later.

Reflection (available as a free trial, $15 for the full version)
Once you have everything ready, simply follow the steps outlined below:
Install and launch Reflection.app. You can adjust the settings as needed, but the default settings will work perfectly fine.
Double-tap the home button on your iDevice. Swipe left to right in the multitasking view to access the quick control panel. Tap the AirPlay button and select your computer (the one with Reflection running). This will display your iDevice screen in a window on your Mac.
Launch Google+ Hangouts and start a hangout session. Invite anyone you want to join.
Click the Screenshare button at the top of the Hangouts panel and select your iDevice from the available sharing options.
From now on, anything you do on your iPhone or iPad will be streamed live to everyone in the hangout. Pretty awesome!
