Starting today, Alexa users can seamlessly enjoy Spotify podcasts by simply commanding, 'Alexa, play The Upgrade on Spotify.' If you’ve paused an episode on the Spotify app, Alexa will resume playback from where you stopped, ensuring a smooth transition between devices without losing your place.
In case the feature isn’t functioning properly, configure Spotify as your default podcast provider on Alexa by following these steps:
Install the Alexa app on your smartphone.
Navigate to Settings, then choose Music & Podcasts.
Click on Link New Service, pick Spotify, and sign in.
Go to Default Services and select Spotify.
Alternatively, you can connect Alexa with a different podcast application, such as Pocket Casts.
