Despite a lifelong passion for skincare, moisturizers have always been a challenge for me. My acne-prone skin is sensitive, reactive, and unpredictable, ruling out heavy creams and harsh active ingredients. When I learned that the beloved beauty brand Dieux launched a moisturizer last year, I was eager to try it.
After months of use, I must admit that Dieux’s Instant Angel moisturizer lives up to the hype. It’s deeply nourishing, calming, and, surprisingly, doesn’t clog my pores. The more I use it, the more my skin improves. While it’s pricier than my usual choice, the results make it worth every cent.

What initially drew me to this moisturizer was its texture. It’s luxuriously creamy, which worried me at first. However, it absorbs effortlessly, leaving my skin smooth, radiant, and hydrated without any greasiness.
Despite my tendency for breakouts, it didn’t trigger any problems. Its luxurious texture ensures a little goes a long way, making the price easier to justify. Since I first bought it in early 2022, my skin has become smoother and less temperamental. The true test came during autumn; as the weather shifted, I expected my skin to dry out, flake, and break out. To my surprise, it stayed healthy, soft, and supple.
The effectiveness of Dieux’s Instant Angel moisturizer stems from its meticulously selected and rigorously tested ingredients.
