Time to get moving! This won’t take long. Welcome to Lunch Break Workout, where every Wednesday we’ll share a quick, effective routine you can do anywhere with minimal equipment.
Why during lunchtime? You’re already taking a break, so why not squeeze in a fast workout? We’ll keep it brief—15 minutes or less. A quick midday workout can boost your energy and help you avoid that afternoon fatigue. Plus, if you’re concerned about breaking a sweat without access to a shower, we’ve got tips to freshen up afterward.
Today, Kristal Richardson leads us through ten minutes of “explosive power” exercises. Don’t worry—they’re simple! She’ll use light dumbbells at one point, but it’s totally fine if you don’t have any.
After a brief warmup, each exercise lasts one minute. If you start to tire—I sure did!—just pause, take a couple of deep breaths, and dive back in. By the time she hits the plank/push-up exercise, I was wiped, so I just did planks for a few seconds at a time.
By the end, I was a bit sweaty, but nothing a couple of wet wipes couldn’t handle. I felt amazing! Give this one a go, and don’t forget to join us next Wednesday for your next lunch break workout.
