Hedy Lamarr became a household name as a leading star during Hollywood's golden age, but behind the glamour, she was also one of the 20th century's most brilliant minds.
In the latest edition of Mytours of History, we explore Lamarr’s incredible accomplishments, including her 1942 patent for frequency hopping (which laid the foundation for modern Bluetooth technology); designing airplane wings for Howard Hughes; and providing the Allies with vital information about Mussolini. She may be the only individual with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a seat on the National Inventors Council.
