Vacations can be pricey, with some destinations costing more than others. Here are the most costly countries globally for tourists, based on the World Economic Forum’s Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report 2015.
The study examined 141 countries, considering various factors related to tourism, such as hotel rates, airport fees, ticket taxes, fuel costs, and more.
From their analysis, they ranked the ten priciest countries. Below is their list, which includes the average amount spent by international visitors during their stay. Although the spending amounts are not ranked, it’s important to note that the methodology includes more than just expenditures, incorporating the total cost of travel-related services within each country.
