Almost six years after its debut and with a sequel right around the corner, Breath of the Wild remains a fan favorite among Switch players of all kinds. You'd think gamers would have uncovered all the secrets of this amazing journey by now, but fresh discoveries are always emerging. Now, we know about a glitch that offers both infinite stamina and invincibility, though it requires a bit of effort to trigger.

The catch is, the process to activate the glitch is somewhat intricate. You'll need the upgraded Sheikah Sensor, a save game near one of the Goddess Statues on the map, an entry in the Hyrule Compendium, the Camera Rune, and access to Hyrule Castle. Then, follow a series of exact button presses and actions, which may take a few attempts to perfect, taking you from the bridge in front of Hyrule Castle to your save near a Goddess Statue.
Once you've mastered the procedure, a single dive into water grants you invincibility and endless stamina, allowing you to roam the world without many constraints. And I mean that: This glitch bypasses cutscenes, so you can do things you'd usually be restricted from. For instance, you can wander through the Lost Woods without being forced out for taking the wrong path. You won’t be expelled from Gerudo Town, regardless of your attire, and you can explore Evertide Island while keeping all your weapons.
However, there are a few limitations. Avoid talking to NPCs, entering shrines, or opening treasure chests while the glitch is active, or you'll soft lock your game and need to restart. Pausing the game, switching items, or using runes will also break the glitch, forcing you to repeat the process to get it working again.
