Voters overwhelmingly chose IT Chapter Two, directed by Andy Muschietti, and Joker, directed by Todd Phillips, as their top picks. This is hardly surprising, given that the first IT was a massive hit in 2017 and even set a record as the highest-grossing horror film ever. Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix's performance in Joker as DC's iconic villain is already sparking discussions about potential Oscar nominations.
