Edgar Cayce, a renowned psychic, was believed to predict future events and provide answers while in a hypnotic state. Although not all his predictions came to pass, the majority were notably precise. His readings spanned topics such as medical guidance, the lost civilization of Atlantis, and future occurrences. A devoted Christian, Cayce also established the Association for Research and Enlightenment. Many of his forecasts have been validated, while others remain unrealized. Below are 10 of his predictions, presented in no specific sequence.
10. Bimini Road and Atlantis

In 1938, Edgar Cayce foresaw that parts of ancient temples might be found beneath layers of sediment and seawater near Bimini, predicting their discovery around 1968 or 1969. The Bimini Road was uncovered in 1968, and Cayce linked it to the reemergence of Atlantis. Many enthusiasts argue that the Bimini Road is a fragment of Atlantis, validating Cayce's prediction.
Cayce depicted Atlantis as an ancient civilization comparable in size to Europe, boasting advanced technology far beyond its time. He claimed that Atlantis vanished into the Atlantic Ocean approximately 10,000 years ago. According to him, the civilization underwent three major divisions, with the first two occurring around 15,600 B.C. The mainland fragmented into islands, which Cayce identified as Poseida, Og, and Aryan.
Cayce also mentioned that the Atlanteans constructed enormous crystal-like structures resembling lasers for energy generation, which ultimately led to the land's devastation. He attributed the final downfall of Atlantis and its culture to greed and desire. Additionally, he stated that a significant number of Atlanteans migrated to Egypt, and the last remnants of Atlantis were submerged due to the Biblical Flood of Noah.
9. Deaths of Two Presidents

In 1939, Edgar Cayce foresaw the deaths of two presidents, predicting: 'Turmoil and conflict between capital and labor will arise. Your nation will face internal division before the second of the next presidents dies in office... leading to mob rule!'
In April 1945, President Franklin D. Roosevelt passed away while still in office. Cayce further stated:
'Unless there is greater compromise, fair treatment for workers, and a more equitable distribution of surplus profits from labor, the nation will face increased chaos.'
President John F. Kennedy was tragically assassinated in Dallas, Texas, in November 1963.
8. Collapse of Soviet Union

Edgar Cayce foresaw the decline of communism and the eventual dissolution of the Soviet Union. He stated: '[Through Russia], the hope of the world will emerge. Not in the form of what is often called Communism or Bolshevism — no! But rather, freedom — true freedom! Where each individual lives for the benefit of others. This principle has been born there. It will take years to fully develop, but from Russia will come the hope of the world once again.'
In 1991, the Soviet Union disbanded, renounced Communism, and embraced economic and political freedoms.
7. Stock Market Crash & Great Depression

In 1924, Cayce predicted the Stock Market crash of 1929 and advised his clients on how to prepare for it and navigate the bull market. Unfortunately, his clients ignored his warnings and lost everything when the market collapsed.
Cayce also predicted the Great Depression, stating that the Stock Market Crash would act as its catalyst. He mentioned that the Depression would end by the spring of 1933, which it did.
6. Revolutions in Foreign Lands

In March 1935, Cayce warned that numerous foreign countries would experience revolutions unless a more spiritual mindset was fostered among their populations. By 1936, the Spanish Civil War erupted, Japan launched an invasion of China, Italy attacked Ethiopia, and Joseph Stalin intensified the Great Purges across Russia.
5. Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler

In January 1934, Edgar Cayce foresaw Adolf Hitler's rise to power in Germany, describing it as the arrival of 'imperialism.' Later, in August 1935, he predicted that Hitler would maintain his rule until an overthrow or an external war would bring his reign to an end.
4. Jews Returning to Israel

In 1932, Cayce predicted the return of Jews to Israel, urging them to view the rising anti-Semitism in Europe as a sign to fulfill the biblical prophecy of their return to the promised land.
As Cayce had foreseen, the nation of Israel was re-established in May 1948, which was quickly followed by conflict between Israel and its neighboring Arab states.
3. His Own Death

Imagine possessing the ability to foresee your own death – Edgar Cayce could. His visions cautioned him against using his psychic gifts more than twice daily, warning of severe health consequences. Despite his fame and the overwhelming number of requests he received, Cayce disregarded these warnings and continued his readings.
On January 1, 1945, Edgar Cayce predicted his burial would occur in four days. He passed away from a stroke on January 3, 1945, and was laid to rest in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, his birthplace.
2. Shift of the Earth’s Poles

In the late 1920s and early 1930s, Edgar Cayce explained the idea of the Earth's poles shifting, suggesting that the planet's crust moves independently from its core, causing different surface areas to align with the spin axis. This theory has gained increasing attention from geophysicists over time.
Cayce predicted that alterations to the Earth's surface would start between 1958 and 1998, driven by a shift in the planet's magnetic poles around the year 2000. He claimed this event would lead to dramatic climate reversals, stating: 'Areas that were once frigid or semi-tropical would become tropical, with moss and fern flourishing.'
NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center observed changes in the Earth’s gravitational field in 1998, which brought the magnetic poles closer together. This discovery aligns with Cayce’s prediction of a pole shift.
1. Alliance Between the US and Russia

During the Soviet era, Edgar Cayce foresaw a future alliance between Russia and the United States. He stated: 'Changes are inevitable — an evolution or revolution in religious thought. The foundation for this global shift will ultimately emerge from Russia. Not communism, but rather the principles akin to what Christ taught — his form of brotherhood.'
This prediction materialized after the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991, an event Cayce had also anticipated.
