The Caucasian Shepherd is incredibly resilient, adapting easily to a wide range of climates. He’s well-adjusted, energetic, and fiercely suspicious of strangers, which can lead to aggressive behavior.

The Cane Corso is a medium-to-large-sized guard dog hailing from Southern Italy. Its balanced temperament and muscular build make it highly sought after for security and protection work. Historically, in rural Southern Italy, this sturdy breed was used for hunting large game as well as guarding and protecting properties. These dogs were known by various regional names, including Vucciuriscu (or Bucciuriscu) in Sicily, Cane della masseria in Puglia, and Cane da Macellaio (Butcher’s Dog).
