Buy: Skincare Products (And Candles)
You may even stumble upon some excellent last-minute Father’s Day gifts. | Bath & Body WorksBath & Body Works runs promotions throughout the year, but their sales reach their peak in two key periods: after Christmas in December and during the mid-season event in June. Expect significant discounts—up to 75 percent off—during their semi-annual sale, which we anticipate starting around Sunday, June 9.
Last year’s summer sale ran from Saturday, June 3 to Monday, July 3, featuring huge discounts on candles, fragrances, body lotions and creams, hand soaps, and other personal care products. Periodic deals were also available for both online and in-store purchases. Shoppers can expect similar offers to start within the next week or so.
What Not to Buy in June
Skip: Grills

While prices do tend to drop after the Fourth of July, they won’t be at their best until the colder months, typically around September. Grills are a popular choice for Father’s Day gifts, but we suggest opting for tools or other practical gadgets instead, or you may end up paying a premium.
Skip: Air Conditioners

The final quarter of the year brings Halloween, Black Friday, and holiday sales, which make room for seasonal inventory.
