As Miller pointed out, the beloved Unexpected Cheddar reigned supreme in this category for years. But now, as a member of Trader Joe's Product Hall of Fame, it’s no longer eligible for an award. This year, the crown goes to goat cheese, which garnered significantly more votes than any other cheesy contender. Although Trader Joe’s offers many varieties of goat cheese, no single one stood out above the rest. As Miller explained, “One of the reasons our customers love buying goat cheese at Trader Joe’s is because our prices are unbeatable.”

Let’s face it, Trader Joe’s isn’t exactly known for its produce. But you can't overlook bananas that cost just 19 cents each. The runners-up in this category were Teeny Tiny Avocados, Honeycrisp Apples, Persian Cucumbers, and the Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit.

4. Best Beverage: Apple Cider from Trader Joe's

Trader Joe’s offers several versions of apple cider, including the Sparkling Apple Cider and Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice, which took the top spot in this category last year.

Perfect for both breakfast and brunch, TJ’s hashbrowns took the top spot in this category, earning nearly three times the votes of the runner-up. Their popularity is such that some locations can’t even keep them in stock! As Miller put it, “Something wonderful just out of reach makes it that much more desirable,” with Sloan adding a playful remark. Want a simple way to make this brunch favorite? Just pop them in the air fryer for a crispy treat.

6. Best Lunch and Dinner Item: Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice from Trader Joe's

This frozen meal is “darn good,” according to Miller, which might explain why it’s taken the top spot in this category for the second year running. Each serving of Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice features aromatic Basmati rice paired with tender chunks of chicken coated in a rich curry made from crushed tomatoes, cream, onions, garlic, ginger, and butter. The runner-up in this category is the long-time favorite, Chicken Tikka Masala, which continues to have a dedicated fanbase.

The runners-up include Mac and Cheese Bites, Parmesan Pastry Pups, Greek Spanakopita, and Vegetable Bird’s Nests.

8. Best Sweet Treat: Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches from Trader Joe's

If anything could unseat the Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones in the dessert category, it would have to be the Sublime Ice Cream Sandwiches.
