This episode explores the inner workings of cults, including their operations, identification methods, personal experiences of members, and pathways to exit. We interviewed Rebecca Stott, author of In the Days of Rain: A Father, a Daughter, a Cult, who shared her upbringing in the Exclusive Brethren, a group that viewed the world as Satan's domain. Additionally, we spoke with Rick Alan Ross, founder of The Cult Education Institute, and Elizabeth Yuko, a bioethicist and journalist with extensive writings on cults.
