One of the few PlayStation 4 features Sony didn't officially bring to the PlayStation 5 is a dedicated web browser app. However, it turns out the PS5 does have an integrated web browser. By navigating through the PS5’s menu, you’ll find various web browser settings, such as clearing cookies and adjusting Javascript preferences. But where exactly is it, and how can you use it?
You can easily access the browser through multiple paths in the console’s Settings menu. For instance, you can find it by opening the online user manual under Settings > User’s Guide, Health & Safety, and Other Information > User’s Guide. It might also appear during gameplay to display announcements, user agreements, or other documents.
Sadly, the browser lacks an editable URL bar and most modern browsing features, making it impossible to visit other websites directly.

Navigate to Settings > System > Web Browser.
Enable “Allow Cookies” and “Enable Javascript.”
While disabling these settings enhances privacy, enabling them can improve page display and loading speeds for certain websites.
Truthfully, most gamers don’t require a web browser on their console, as they likely have their phones or computers nearby. Additionally, apps like YouTube or Hulu are available for streaming content on the PS5. However, for those who really want a dedicated web browser, this is the best alternative currently available.
