Thanks to the global reach of Hollywood's television shows and films, American culture is widely recognized around the world. However, when promoting an American film internationally, some filmmakers choose to make minor adjustments to better connect with local audiences. Disney, in particular, is known for this approach, which we've seen with Inside Out and now with Zootopia (also known as Zootropolis in some countries).

As the animal characters change, so do their voice actors. Canadian CBC news anchor Peter Mansbridge voices the moose, Australian singer David Campbell voices the koala, and journalist Ricardo Boechat provides the voice for the jaguar.
While this playful reference to other countries has generally been well-received, some New Zealanders are a bit upset about being associated with Australia's koala.
