3. Fafim Ngã Tư Sở Cinema
Fafim Vietnam Joint Stock Company, commonly known as Fafim Vietnam, traces its origins to the Vietnam National Cinema and Photography Enterprise, which was established in the Viet Bac War Zone under Decree No. 147/SL dated March 15, 1953, by President Ho Chi Minh. Its primary mission was to promote government policies, highlight the heroic struggles of the Vietnamese people, introduce the lives and achievements of allied nations, and educate the public on political and cultural matters.
Over time, the organization underwent several transformations, from the Central National Film Distribution Enterprise (1958) to Fafim Vietnam Studio (1992). In 1993, it officially became the Vietnam Film Import-Export and Distribution Company under Decision No. 801/QĐ-BVHTT issued by the Ministry of Culture and Information, now the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
In 2010, the company was restructured into a one-member limited liability company, the Vietnam Film Import-Export and Distribution LLC, as per Decision No. 1174/QĐ-BVHTTDL dated April 2, 2010. Subsequently, following the privatization decision by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on April 20, 2011, Fafim Vietnam Joint Stock Company was officially formed, registered under the business license No. 0100109850 issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on July 3, 2012.
The cinema complex features 3 digital projection rooms, including 2 modern 3D rooms, with a total of 450 seats, designed for optimal viewing.
