My father has been ill for quite some time
Recently, his condition worsened, making him sicker
There was little hope left
Yet I still took him to the hospital, believing in the doctor's skill and virtue

Staying up late, I learned how long the nights could be
The doctor tirelessly worked to examine and treat
Racing against time to save the patient
Gradually, his condition improved, bringing peace to my heart

I remember when father used to hold my hand
Teaching me to read and sweep the house
Now I hold his hand again
Wrapping him with love and warmth, hoping for his recovery

In these past few days, my heart was in turmoil
Now that father has woken up, I am overjoyed
With a choked throat and teary eyes
I am grateful, for father's health is back, brightening our future

Thank you to the compassionate doctors
Who worked tirelessly, day and night, to heal
With both skill and virtue, they brought light
May father recover completely, filling us with love and trust.

Every morning, he and his wife
Wake up early and get out of bed.
Too much lying down makes the body sore,
So they get up a bit earlier than usual.

Now that we’re both aging
We focus on exercise to keep our bodies agile.
First, for long-term health,

Rain or shine, they keep up their exercise.

Why does my heart race so fast?
My eyes burn like flashes of lightning,
My sweat pours down, and my hands and feet feel shaky!

So I can travel freely, from one place to another

The buckwheat flowers bloom in Ha Giang
While Lung Cu waits, perched high above

In Dien Bien, I stop to admire the ban flower
The beautiful Thai girls, dreamy and serene
The sound of the flute gently invites
Travelers to rest at a stilt house

Hue, deep in thought by the Perfume River
The soft purple ao dai, a symbol of love
In Hau Giang, the floating market is filled with fruits
And Ben Tre's coconuts cascade down the roadside

In the evening, Ben Ninh Kieu is dreamlike
Glimmers reflecting in the shimmering water
The cruise ship carries passengers back and forth
While songs and melodies weave the spirit of poetry

We visit Quy Nhon to honor the ancestors
And Kiên Giang, where the vast sea beckons
The prison of Con Dao to visit Sister Sau
And the endless golden sands of Phan Thiết

Returning to Đồng Tháp, to honor the ancestor Sinh
We visit Nha Mân, land blessed by the gods
The lotus leaves, as large as hats
Stand tall, never fearing to fall

Sa Dec’s flower village is as beautiful as a dream
With colors bright under the midday sun
The Chà là orchard beckons with ripe sweetness
How could anyone resist such a treat?

Come to An Giang, Châu Đốc, my friend
Enjoy a bowl of snakehead fish soup, full of love
The cable car takes us to the Lady Chúa Sứ
Trà Sư forest shines in its magical green

Heading down to Cà Mau, surrounded by green mangrove forests
At the farthest edge of our homeland
The more I travel, the more I fall in love with this land
Its beauty, like a painted masterpiece

Ho Chi Minh City, the Pearl of the East
A city of love, basking in the glow of the morning sun
The new day welcomes travelers
With the gentle sound of the bell marking the quiet dawn

We journey on, never wanting to stop
Hoping that our health will never fade
As we continue on our way
Our beautiful homeland calls us to explore further
