The data reflects search trends from more than 190 countries over the last year. Vanilla, Neapolitan, and chocolate emerged as the top three flavors, collectively amassing 5,014,850 searches during this period.

Vanilla dominates globally, favored by 46 countries. Although the vanilla bean traces its origins to Mesoamerica, today's primary cultivation occurs in Madagascar, Tahiti, and Mexico. Nations such as India, Nigeria, and Guyana are among those that cherish this classic flavor.

Neapolitan ice cream, a delightful trio of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry layers, secures the second spot. It’s the top choice in 29 countries, including the U.S., Australia, and Canada. 

Claiming third place is chocolate, adored by 22 nations. Italy, Colombia, and Uganda are among the countries that show a strong preference for this timeless flavor.

Nutty flavors like pistachio and rocky road earned spots in the top 10, ranking fifth and ninth, respectively. Fruit-based options also shine, with strawberry and mango making the list. Guava ice cream, a unique choice, ties for 10th. Lesser-known flavors include India’s kulfi, a rich dessert topped with pistachios, and New Zealand’s hokey pokey ice cream, featuring honeycomb toffee mixed into vanilla.
