While dogs adore affection and attention, nothing says love like a tasty treat. To celebrate National Dog Day on August 26, Krispy Kreme is offering exclusive dog biscuits, allowing pet owners to enjoy a snack moment with their four-legged pals.
As reported by Food & Wine, Krispy Kreme’s special dog treats mimic their famous doughnuts. Each green-and-white box contains six varieties, such as chocolate glazed and strawberry iced with sprinkles. While they resemble the real deal, these biscuits are crafted with dog-friendly ingredients like carob and peanut butter.
While Krispy Kreme excels in doughnuts, they partnered with Huds and Toke, an Australian brand renowned for vibrant, celebratory pet treats, to create these dog-safe snacks. Known for their dog cookies and birthday cakes, Huds and Toke used human-grade ingredients for this collaboration, making it safe for curious owners to sample alongside their pets.
Starting Friday, August 25, Krispy Kreme will introduce its “doggie doughnuts” in stores, offering them throughout the weekend until supplies run out. If the treats sell out, you can still grab a limited-edition dog bandana from the promotion. This red accessory is adorned with playful designs like cartoon bones, paw prints, and doughnuts.
