Despite the recent news from the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) about discontinuing two cookies, Toast-Yay! and S’mores, Thin Mints are here to stay. As noted on the organization's website, they remain the best-selling cookie. Fans of the beloved treat will be pleased to hear that a Thin-Mint-inspired Frosty might soon be available at a popular fast-food chain.
According to Food & Wine, Wendy's is rumored to unveil a Thin Mint Frosty next month. Tyler Bowers, also known as teamsupernovafb on Instagram, was the first to spread the word. He posted a possible release date of February 21 alongside a leaked image of a vanilla Frosty with chocolate (and potentially mint-flavored) swirls. Another food influencer, snackolator, shared the same news on their Instagram, offering a clearer version of the leaked photo. There's no official word yet on how much the special Frosty will cost.
Food & Wine reached out to Wendy's for confirmation, but no response was received. GSUSA has yet to verify the rumor as well, but that hasn’t stopped fans from getting excited. The comment sections on both snackolator's and teamsupernovafb's Instagram posts are buzzing with anticipation. If the rumor turns out to be true, the Thin Mint Frosty will surely be a hit among both Girl Scout cookie lovers and Frosty fans.
Wendy’s has a history of special collaborations with famous brands. On October 2, 2024, the fast-food chain announced a limited-time partnership with Paramount, celebrating the 25th anniversary of *SpongeBob SquarePants*. This collaboration introduced the 'Krabby Patty Kollab' meal, which included the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty, both inspired by the beloved cartoon. The burger featured a quarter-pound patty, two slices of cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and, of course, a secret sauce. The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty took the classic vanilla Frosty and swirled in a pineapple-mango purée for a tropical twist.
