We are honored to invite teacher ... the party secretary and principal of our school, to welcome these new first-grade students. We encourage them to strive to be well-behaved, diligent, and excel in their studies, becoming the beautiful flowers in the vibrant garden of our school.
Goodbye to the beloved kindergarten years, where they were surrounded by the warmth of childhood stories and fairytales, as they step into first grade with new responsibilities—learning. Our teachers, like second mothers, are ready to welcome them with open arms. They will teach the students to read, write, and solve problems, opening the door to a world of knowledge. Our teachers will give wings to their dreams, helping them soar higher and farther. (Introduction of the homeroom teachers). We extend our love, trust, and hope to both our teachers and students.

Honorable delegates, Esteemed teachers, and dear students!
We all have a first day of school. It is a day etched in the memory of every individual. It is filled with excitement, nervousness, and uncertainty. These emotions reflect the feelings of the first-grade students as they step into school for the very first time.
Today is that significant day for XX first-grade students of XX Primary School.
Just like every year, the anticipation and excitement for the first day of school are visible not only on the faces of the parents but also in the hesitant steps of the first-grade students.
Not long ago, these students were the little buds of life, cradled in their parents’ arms. Today, they arrive at school filled with the joy and pride of their parents. It is a major milestone in their lives and a moment of immense happiness for their families.
As they step into primary school for the first time, the first-grade students will certainly feel nervous and shy at first. However, these initial feelings will soon be replaced by excitement and pride, as they are warmly welcomed by teachers and older students who have prepared a respectful ceremony for them.
That initial nervousness fades away in the smiles of the students as they meet their new homeroom teachers. And from today on, the parents no longer feel like visitors—they too officially become part of the school family.
With the nurturing care of the teachers and senior students, these first-grade students will soon integrate and thrive at school. As they begin this new chapter, we are confident they will become exemplary students, diligent in their studies, active in community activities, and will grow to be responsible citizens who honor their parents and teachers.
The poet Viễn Phương captures the unforgettable memory of the first day of school with the following lines:
“The first day of school
Mother held my hand to school
I walked, crying
Mother comforted me lovingly.
The first day of school
Tears blurred my eyes
The teacher comforted me
Oh, how deeply it touched me”
Before us now are XX first-grade students, stepping into their future as the next generation of the country. At this important moment, we invite the honored guests, teachers, and students to open their arms and warmly welcome the 81 first-grade students with joy and pride. Let us give them a resounding round of applause!

We ask all delegates, teachers, and students to join us in a heartfelt round of applause to welcome these young students.
Today is their first day at school, a momentous occasion etched in the memories of their childhood. Every day, they will be guided by older students and their teachers to grow into capable and responsible individuals. Together, with the collaboration of “School-Family-Society,”
The future awaits these students, and we are certain that they will strive to become good children, excellent students, and worthy citizens to repay the love and care of their parents and teachers.
The faculty of XX Primary School wishes all the students a bright and successful year, filled with joy and accomplishments.
