Visitors will immediately notice the unique design, blending creative, airy elements with climate-appropriate architectural solutions. The café relies on natural ventilation and water for cooling, which lowers both construction and operational costs.
The café is built entirely from 7,000 bamboo plants, a sustainable and eco-friendly material. By utilizing natural materials, energy consumption during construction is minimized. Bamboo grows quickly and can be harvested in just five years, making the building cost-effective. In the center of the café’s main floor is an artificial pond. Although the pond may appear deep at first glance, it is actually quite shallow, reaching only knee-deep. The use of dark stones at the bottom creates the illusion of depth. The seating area is positioned lower than the pond, and the architect explains that this design allows guests to enjoy the cool breeze flowing from the pond’s surface.
