1. Poem: 'The One Who Returns to Eternity' - Nghi Lam
The One Who Returns to Eternity
Poem by: Nghi Lam
Uncle has passed on at an advanced age,
More than a lifetime of contributions to the nation.
With unwavering loyalty to the Party and the Country,
We deeply mourn the passing of a true General Secretary.
We remember the days when Uncle was warm and cheerful,
Always smiling and friendly with the people.
He never sought personal privilege,
Only wished for our country to prosper.
Every thought was aligned with one goal,
For the people and the beloved homeland.
Policies and strategies were carefully considered,
Communicated clearly to every corner.
A lifetime of youth dedicated to the revolution,
Through difficult and challenging times,
He endured colonial torture at Hoa Lo,
But never wavered, always steadfast with the Party.
Even in retirement, Uncle never forgot,
Remembering the glorious past,
Of many comrades-in-arms and the entire nation,
In the founding of our great country.
Who knows what awaits us tomorrow?
Uncle departs to the land of peace,
To a place free from worries and pains.
WE HOPE UNCLE RESTS IN PEACE!

2. Poem: 'Gratitude for the One Who Decided to Preserve the Sacred Flag' - Nguyen Dinh Cuong
Gratitude for the One Who Decided to Preserve the Sacred Flag
Poem by: Nguyen Dinh Cuong
Over a century of serving the Vietnamese Nation,
Eight decades dedicated to the plow and sickle,*
Exemplifying integrity and honesty,
The person has passed, leaving deep sorrow behind.
This person always upheld the law,
With a loyal and wholehearted dedication,
Day and night, tirelessly working,
To alleviate the people's suffering and bring joy to the nation.
One thing this person always cherished,
Peace meant the people would no longer suffer,
Words matched actions,
Preserving values without being tempted by money.
Through hardship, steadfast with the Party,
Fighting alongside the people, unwavering,
In retirement, their spirit remained strong,
Always guiding the younger generations closely.
This person firmly believed,
That the country would stand strong for many years,
Sending off many tears of sorrow,
Grateful for the one who decided to preserve the sacred flag!

3. Poem: 'Remembering Uncle Muoi' - Lam Binh
Remembering Uncle Muoi
Poem by Lam Binh
I grew up seeing him building the economy
Our country has risen since then
Countless times he traveled through hardships
Searching for a way to feed the people in their struggles
He always stood firm, leading with dignity
Amidst the criticisms and crossfire
Throwing it all aside...
I still remember those harsh years
Military officials visiting the homeland
... having to pass through the Suoi Sau checkpoint
Sneaking like a thief...
With only a few kilos of pork and peanuts
Locked up, pleading until hoarse
Had to use charm to be released just in time for the frontline
That morning, heading back to Hau Giang, unforgettable...
There was a funny story from the military artists
That they carried as a piece of baggage before heading to battle
Telling each other about Uncle Muoi’s Law
The country was so full of warmth back then
Everyone obediently followed through
For life still carried an unwavering belief
In the face of adversity, that belief always shone
Truly proud descendants of Hung Kings.

Crying to Bid Farewell to Uncle Do Muoi!
Poem by Hoang Minh Tuan
A century of life is more than enough
A revolutionary life, as beautiful as a dream
Defeating foreign invaders in three wars
Famine and poverty fled far away
The country is peaceful, the people are well-fed
The Party's and Uncle's contributions are immense
Now Uncle has gone to the eternal land
The entire Vietnamese population mourns and bids farewell!

Farewell, Uncle Do Muoi
Author: Do Tan Thich
Life, death, sickness, and fate are all unpredictable
We are but guests in this world, caught in endless troubles
Do Muoi, our dear Uncle, has left us
Returning to his homeland, to the embrace of the Earth
Stopping briefly,
Visiting the fleeting world,
His soul, like dust, drifts,
And the golden river flows through the ages.
(Do Tan Thich)

Farewell Uncle Do Muoi
Author: Trang Tho Gam Mai
Fate's cruel twists unfold
Grief rains down, draping the nation in mourning
The sky itself weeps in sorrow
As we bid farewell to a star, gone from the world and the heavens.
Uncle Muoi has departed
The General Secretary who dedicated his life to the people
His heart full of loyalty and devotion
His legacy will shine brightly for a thousand years.
The eternal realm awaits his arrival
Where he will meet with Uncle Ho and Uncle Ton
Their sacred spirits forever wish for
The glory of Vietnam's socialist future.
He journeys to the golden waters
Leaving his descendants in tears
The earth mourns deeply
As the star fades from this world forever.

8. Poem: 'A Tribute to a Great Man' - Phan Trong Kinh
A Tribute to a Great Man!
Author: Phan Trong Kinh
Uncle has gone, Uncle Muoi, oh!
The nation mourns the loss of a great man
Who spent his life serving the country
For the Party, for the people, with tireless devotion
For over a century, Uncle stood unwavering
With his country, his people, and his family
With a heart pure and blemish-free
Where hardship arose, Uncle was always there
His dreams were vast and grand
But one great wish filled his soul
To see the country strong and prosperous
To build an industrial foundation
And stand proudly alongside the world's greatest powers
In his final days, as he bid farewell
There was still an unfinished page, a thought yet to be shared
Bold pencil strokes, reminders of what is yet to come
What will the future of industry hold?
Uncle has gone, Uncle Muoi, oh!
The bookshelf in the next room is now empty
The flowers by the gate no longer bloom
Who will tend to the children now?
Uncle has gone far away
To join Lenin and Uncle Ho
The whole nation and Party mourn his loss
For his invaluable service to the nation
We truly miss and honor Uncle Muoi!
Uncle was a star in the sky
No storm could ever dull his light
His exemplary spirit will forever shine bright.

Rest in Peace, Uncle
Author: Hong Soi
When we heard the news that Uncle had passed
The sorrow and loss spread across the country
Farewell to a great soul, now in the nine heavens
We pray that this place is filled with fragrant flowers
All the people are determined to follow Uncle's example
The Marxist-Leninist Party will resist the forces of evil
Rest in peace, Uncle, in the realm of Buddha
No matter how difficult the path, we will overcome it!
Author: Hong Soi

10. Poem: 'The One Who Has Departed' - Nguyet Suong
The One Who Has Departed
Author: Nguyet Suong
Uncle, this morning I received the sorrowful news
The one who has joined Marx and Lenin
The one who has gone to the world of the virtuous
To a place of eternal peace!
The nation mourns this loss
The steadfast communist, the brilliant leader
He dedicated his life to the motherland
Even to the end, his worries never ceased
He is gone, but the nation will always remember him
The land of Thanh Tri weeps with endless sorrow
The village of Dong My feels the aching loss
We welcome him back to the sacred ancestral soil!
We understand the law of life and death
No one can avoid this fate
But the towering tree of the nation has fallen
And in the coming days, its shadow will fade
We, the younger generation, have never experienced
The pain of hardship or the struggles fought
As we continue to build our homeland
We will feel the absence left by him
The autumn sky seems heavy with sorrow
The southern sky echoes with a cry of regret
As the earth whispers its farewell
The soul of Vietnam will forever leave its mark!
