1. Singer Ngọc Ánh
One evening, my mother took me to a Gala music performance at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Center. As the show began, a graceful young woman emerged from backstage, bowing to the audience. Then, the music started, and colorful lights illuminated the entire stage. The voice of a young woman echoed, announcing, “To kick off the show, singer Ngọc Ánh will perform the song 'Lullaby of the Sea.' I said to my mom, 'That's Ngọc Ánh, she's performed on TV!'
Ngọc Ánh stepped forward, dressed neatly in a white ao dai with delicate mai blossom embroidery. Her tall and slender figure suited the outfit perfectly. Her oval face shone under the vibrant stage lights, and her expression seemed brighter, her voice as clear and pure as a mountain stream, captivating the audience. A charming smile adorned her lips, revealing her perfectly white teeth, sparkling like precious pearls. Her skin was smooth and fair, like soft pink rose petals, enhanced with a light layer of makeup. Hidden beneath long, dark lashes, her eyes sparkled like morning dew, reflecting the joy of a performer. Her long, silky hair reached her back. Every movement was graceful, whether raising or lowering her hands. I couldn't take my eyes off the stage as I watched Ngọc Ánh perform. Her song took me to the sea, to the vast ocean, where I imagined ships sailing across the waves, soaring with the gentle lyrics of her voice.
Though I saw her for only a few moments, I felt a deep connection with her. The performance left a lasting impression on me. I wished I could sing as beautifully as she does.

2. Singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng
Though I've seen many singers perform, the one who left the most lasting impression on me, both with their warm personality and beautiful voice, is singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng. He has brought his voice and heart to fans everywhere.
Once, I had the chance to attend the 40th birthday party of Mr. Đàm Vĩnh Hưng with my parents. I still remember how he performed many songs, but the most memorable was 'Mother's Folk Songs.' That evening, he wore a light brown shirt with matching pants, accessorized with a checkered scarf around his neck. His voice is unique; it’s not as high-pitched or clear as some other singers, but it has a distinctive husky tone. As he sang, he walked around the stage and even ventured into the audience seats. Occasionally, he added playful gestures, twirling or taking short steps as if dancing with someone. His habit of moving the microphone up and down during his performance was also quite unique. I often hear people describe Đàm Vĩnh Hưng's voice as sweet, and sometimes, he closes his eyes while singing, fully immersed in the song. He has a bright, charming smile, revealing perfectly white teeth. His signature high hairdo is instantly recognizable, making him stand out easily. That night, I also learned that Đàm Vĩnh Hưng is skilled in comedy acting, sharing witty jokes that made the crowd laugh and cheer loudly.
The party ended grandly with all the artists coming together on stage to sing a final song, bidding farewell to the audience. Singer Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, also known as 'Mr. Đàm,' is truly a talented artist. Through his singing and performance, he provided everyone with moments of joy and relaxation after a tiring day. I also learned that Đàm Vĩnh Hưng participates in charity work, helping struggling artists and the poor in various places.
I hope to see him perform again in the future. When I grow up, I aim to be successful and help others, just like he does.

3. Singer Hương Tràm
I have a deep love for the arts, such as singing, dancing, drawing, and playing instruments. Among all, listening to music is my favorite, especially songs that hold significant meaning. Because of this passion, I often watch music programs on TV. Not long ago, I was watching The Voice Vietnam, and I was deeply impressed by the performance of singer Hương Tràm.
The image of Hương Tràm that day is still vivid in my memory. She stepped onto the stage in a graceful, elegant long dress. Her balanced features stood out under the stage lights, leaving a lasting impression. She didn't wear heavy makeup; her soft smile and sweet voice as she greeted the judges and audience made me eager to know her name. It seemed the host could sense my curiosity, as well as that of others, so they quickly introduced her. The name Hương Tràm became etched in my mind. After a brief introduction, music played, and the space became silent. The clapping and cheering faded, replaced by harmonious sounds. Hương Tràm gazed into the distance and slowly began to sing. Her voice was smooth and melodic, deeply touching everyone’s heart, including mine, evoking emotions of love and affection. The song she performed was about a mother—the woman who carried and raised us, teaching us the values of life. Each line seemed to come from her heart, full of gratitude and emotion, a message from a grown child to their mother. As she sang, her face expressed the right emotions, matching the lyrics, making the performance even more profound. Listening to her, I felt transported into a world of music and images of a hardworking mother. My eyes couldn’t leave the screen, watching her until the song ended, when she bowed to the audience and stepped offstage. Only when my mother called me did I realize that her performance had ended a while ago.
The program had long since finished, but it was through it that I discovered Hương Tràm and her amazing voice. The image of her on stage that night ignited a deep love for music within me and admiration for this talented young singer with such an expressive voice.

4. Singer Cẩm Ly
In my family, everyone has their own taste in music. Each genre has its own unique style and charm. However, my favorite is folk music because of its soothing melodies. Because of this, I have always wanted to see a singer perform live. Fortunately, on my tenth birthday, my parents took me to a live concert by singer Cẩm Ly.
I was so excited that I arrived at the venue very early, but I soon realized that others had arrived even earlier. Everyone seemed eager to get a spot close to the stage to hear the lyrics more clearly. Once I got my ticket and entered the venue, the atmosphere was lively with conversations and laughter. Ten minutes later, the audience settled into their seats, and the once vibrant chatter was replaced by the beating hearts of many people. A hush fell over the venue. When Cẩm Ly appeared on stage, the spotlight illuminated her, making her even more beautiful. She wore a flowing áo dài decorated with delicate pink lotus flowers. Her hair was long, shiny, and hung loosely around her shoulders. Her eyes sparkled. As she began to sing, the audience fell silent, listening intently. The song she performed was “Chị tôi,” a song I had always loved for its emotional depth. Hearing her sing it live brought a sense of indescribable emotion. I felt like I was holding my breath, swaying to the melody, lost in the music. The image of the sister figure—tired, selfless, and devoted—became clearer with each note, moving many in the audience to tears. As she sang, Cẩm Ly seemed to transform into the sister herself. Her voice soared higher, richer, and more poignant, moving between tender and powerful, drawing tears from the crowd.
By the time the song ended, the whole auditorium erupted into applause and cheers. Some fans, overwhelmed with excitement, rushed to the stage hoping to shake her hand. Even though the performance was over and Cẩm Ly had gone backstage, I was still left in a state of awe, deeply moved by the experience.

5. Singer Khởi My
On Sunday, my parents took me to a night market. The market was beautifully decorated. As we reached Hoan Kiem Lake, I suddenly noticed an outdoor stage with a poster saying: "Performance by singer Khởi My," and I was thrilled. Today, I would finally get to see my favorite singer perform live.
The atmosphere was electric. The large stage was dazzlingly lit up, while the audience below was packed to the brim, with hardly any space left. Despite the crowdedness, everyone was cheerful. It seemed that the chance to see Khởi My perform made everyone forget about everything else. The performance began, and the lively noise was replaced by the smooth rhythms of her music. From behind a bright red curtain, the young singer emerged on stage, flashing a smile at the audience. The sound of Khởi My’s joyful voice filled the air. She wore a pristine white áo dài, and her hair was braided into two pigtails, making her look like an innocent college student. Her voice was pure and innocent, reminiscent of a student’s carefree days. Her performance moved seamlessly between soft and high notes, evoking the feeling of university life. As she sang, Khởi My moved gracefully across the stage, occasionally walking to a corner or stepping down into the crowd. Wherever she went, the audience cheered wildly, singing along with her, waving banners that read: 'Khởi My is number one.' That night, she gave her all in the performance, never seeming tired as she shared her incredible voice with her fans. The audience responded enthusiastically, deeply enjoying her warm and captivating voice.
Before I knew it, the song had ended. Khởi My smiled, waved to the crowd, and received bouquets from her fans. As I listened to the thunderous applause from the audience, I could feel how much they admired and adored her. I was deeply impressed by this unforgettable performance.

6. Singer Bảo Thy
Last Sunday night, my dad took me to a fair. When we arrived, I noticed a large crowd gathered, all with smiling faces. It turned out that it was the night when singer Bảo Thy was going to perform, and I was excited as she’s one of my favorite artists.
She is a young singer with a collection of sweet songs loved by many, including me. The area around the stage was packed, and everyone was trying to find the best spot to catch a glimpse of their idol. My dad quickly found a good spot for us, and from there, I had a perfect view of the entire stage without any obstructions. The stage was decorated beautifully with balloons, banners, and glittering ribbons, making it shine brightly. I eagerly awaited Bảo Thy’s entrance, and then she appeared! She walked out from behind the stage and waved at the audience. She wore a stunning red dress, and her hair was styled up, highlighting her lovely smiling face.
With her sweet, emotive voice, Bảo Thy introduced the song she was going to perform: "Công chúa bong bóng". The entire audience erupted in applause and chants of her name. I was thrilled as I also love this song. As soon as she started singing, the cheers turned to a quiet reverence as everyone listened intently. She would occasionally move to one side of the stage, then to the other, waving to the crowd as she sang.
I couldn’t take my eyes off the stage. That night, Bảo Thy gave her all in the performance, and it was a resounding success. It was an unforgettable evening for me, and I hope that one day she will return to the fair to sing for her fans again.

7. Singer Tran Tien
I was sitting and playing when suddenly I heard an introduction on the TV in my house: “Dear friends! To begin today’s music show, singer Tran Tien will perform the song “Little Sun.” I quickly jumped up and ran to watch. It was so good! I really liked that song.
I paid close attention to the small screen. Uncle Tran Tien took his guitar and quickly walked on stage. I waited eagerly. He strummed the guitar, and the familiar melody filled the air. A deep voice began to sing: “Out there, there's a little girl…” It was so good! Uncle Tran Tien pretended to look around, making his fingers into a round shape, just like the lyrics, and it was so funny. I hummed along softly. His voice deepened, and he placed both hands on his chest, shaking his head playfully: “… Happiness is so simple, I never expected it…” Suddenly, his voice went higher, and his eyes squinted: “… It’s raining so much, dear…” It was so joyful, I clapped loudly. His mouth smiled so brightly. While singing, he bent down, his face scrunching up in a funny expression, showing his mock sorrow. His voice softened: “The song is all wet now…” I cheered, “So talented! Amazing!” He sang with high and low notes, and the lyrics touched my heart. From time to time, he held out his coat’s collar, spread his arms, and sang loudly: “I never expected it.” Uncle Tran Tien didn’t stop bouncing to the rhythm. I was so caught up in the joy that I couldn’t help but sway along with him.
Uncle Tran Tien sang so beautifully, it was mesmerizing. At the end, his performance was spectacular. His wide smile appeared at every high note. As he sang higher, I felt like I was soaring into the sky. His hand reached high, fingers forming the “little sun.” He bent slightly and stretched his hand forward. His eyes widened, his voice fast and playful: “La la la, la la la…” He paused for a moment, then continued the second verse. The music played lively. I rushed to turn up the volume. Uncle Tran Tien held a blooming flower, smelling it while squinting his eyes. He was so childlike. While playing his guitar, he walked around the stage, smiling brightly. Another familiar voice filled the air. But this time, he sang faster. Sometimes, he ran his hand through his hair, laughing awkwardly, making me exclaim: “Uncle Tran Tien, you’re so funny!”
As the song neared the end, Uncle leaned back slightly, singing “La la…” and the song ended. I looked at the TV and felt so disappointed, wishing he would sing more, forever.

8. Singer Trung Duc
Last Sunday, at the city theater, I had the pleasure of attending a concert. It was my first time seeing singer Trung Duc perform. He is an esteemed artist, known for his mastery in light music and revolutionary songs, with an operatic voice that resonates deeply. My father is a huge fan of his. That night, both my father and I were mesmerized by his performance of the song 'Tình ca', composed by the late Hoang Viet.
On stage, the theater was awash in colorful lights, and Trung Duc bowed to the audience. A warm, enthusiastic round of applause followed. Though Trung Duc appeared to be in his fifties, his youthful energy made him look much younger, like someone in their forties. He stood tall and dignified in a black suit, white shirt, and a red bow tie. His face was full and kind, with bold, straight eyebrows that resembled silk threads, dark and glossy. Beneath them, his eyes were large and sparkling, exuding a youthful vibrancy. His nose was slightly broad, but straight, and his neatly styled hair waved gently, framing his friendly face. Under the spotlight, his distinguished figure radiated elegance, with his hair flowing gracefully, softening the appearance of his broad forehead. He sang with passion, as if pouring his soul into every note. His gestures matched the rhythm of the music, extending as though embracing the vastness of the homeland. His hand rested on his chest, symbolizing a deep, burning love for those he holds dear. He guided the audience through each note, taking them on an emotional journey. His face was radiant, filled with emotion. His eyebrows shifted in time with the music, transporting the audience to realms of romantic love, national pride, and unyielding resolve in battle.
Through the music of Hoang Viet, Trung Duc conveyed the heartfelt message of the composer, reflecting his own artistic soul and reaching out to the audience. Dressed in his tailored suit, with a voice that flowed smoothly and gestures that were both graceful and tender, Trung Duc delivered a sincere message of enduring love for couples, for families separated by the war, and for the unbreakable will in the struggle for freedom. The performance ended with a thunderous applause from the audience. Though the velvet curtains had closed, the echoes of his voice and image remained etched in my mind. It wasn’t only I who admired his talent – my entire family, and many others, held him in high regard. He truly deserved the title of People’s Artist, an honor granted by the State.
Trung Duc completely won over the audience, stirring in them a deep and unwavering love for those dear to them, for the sacred homeland, and for the art of revolutionary, emotional music.

9. Singer Noo Phuoc Thinh
Last Saturday, I had the chance to attend a live concert with my parents, featuring many popular singers, including Noo Phuoc Thinh, one of the most beloved artists among the younger generation.
The atmosphere in front of the stage was vibrant, with dazzling lights illuminating groups of young people gathering together, as well as families enjoying the event. Noo Phuoc Thinh appeared on stage to a warm welcome from his fans. At around twenty-five years old, he dressed in a trendy, youthful style that reflected current fashion. His face was round, with straight, dark eyebrows. His hair was neatly styled, slicked back with a glossy finish. His bright, white teeth and ever-present smile charmed the audience. Under the spotlight, he sang many well-known hits, with the audience singing along to every song, as these are popular tracks widely known by the youth.
Each song was accompanied by energetic dance routines, and the choreography was sharp and dynamic, especially for the fast-paced songs. Noo Phuoc Thinh also introduced some of his newer songs, hoping they would be well received by the audience in the future. After the performance, many fans lingered to get his autograph and take photos with their idol. Despite being tired, Noo Phuoc Thinh was gracious and happy to sign autographs. That day, I too received an autograph from the singer I admire.
This was a memorable concert for me, as I was able to get the autograph of my favorite idol. I hope he continues to be loved and supported by his fans for years to come.

10. Singer My Tam
The 10th-anniversary celebration of VTV3 took place at Studio S9. The stage was beautifully decorated, and the lights created a stunning atmosphere, both magical and dazzling. Many singers performed during the celebration, but my favorite was My Tam, whose performance left a lasting impression on me.
After the introduction by Mr. Lai Van Sam, My Tam appeared on stage with a radiant smile, greeted by thunderous applause. She looked around 25 years old, tall and slender. Her pink dress perfectly hugged her elegant figure, and the stage lights enhanced her beauty. As she reached the center of the stage, she bowed to the audience, and the applause intensified.
My Tam gently swayed to the rhythm of the music, her head moving with the melody. She brushed her light brown hair, and as she sang, her voice soared. The entire studio was silent as her bright face shone under the lights. Her cheeks flushed with color as she flashed a charming smile at the audience. At times, she winked playfully. She twirled, and her hair danced with the movement as she sang: “The nightingale sings in the blue sky…” The music swelled, and the crowd erupted with cheers. As the song ended, My Tam bowed and left the stage.
The image of My Tam performing the song “Brown-Haired Nightingale” will stay with me forever. I hope to see her perform more wonderful songs in the future.
