1. Hairpin
Sometimes it’s a flower
Sometimes it’s a leaf
Sometimes it’s a bunch of fruit
Sometimes it’s a lovely butterfly
Though its shape and color change
It is still the same hairpin
For little girls to beautify
Their neat black hair
Through the seasons, it remains
Flowers and leaves never wither
The fruits stay ripe and lovely
The butterfly rests on the fragrant hair.

2. The Refrigerator
Dad bought a refrigerator
The child loves it so much!
Then the child opens it
So many things inside
There are vegetables and fruits
There’s meat and fish
Even fresh milk
Drinking it feels so cool
Dad, oh dad…!
I love you so much!

3. The TV
Sitting still at home
Yet knows everything going on
Never attends school
But speaks so brilliantly
With antennae on many fingers
Spreading them and reaching for the sky
Seeking sounds and colors
Bringing them from everywhere
It knows countless images
Of the universe, of mankind
It brings so many new things
All of them come right here
Always working diligently
Hoping to bring joy to others.

4. The Small Towel
Mom puts the towel on the child
The wind blows and the towel flutters
The little nose is sniffing
The towel reminds the child to wipe right away.

5. The Mother and Child Tea Set
Mom warms her pregnant belly
And brings forth a bunch of teacups
All with similar faces
Carrying many hopes
Mom has a slender spout
Which is the nipple
To feed her child
With plenty of delicious milk
The little ones are very well-behaved
They don’t drink until invited
Let’s serve the guests first
With loving, smiling mouths
The mother and child tea set
Are always together
Happily greeting all
Pleasing both the host and the guest.

6. The Charming Little Bowl
Mother and father work so hard
At the Bat Trang pottery factory
They bring home a beautiful bowl
Adorned with chrysanthemum petals
Delicately blooming and swaying.
From clay and earth
Through father's hands
And mother's touch
It becomes a lovely bowl of flowers.
Tenderly held by little hands
At every meal, day by day
The love of parents
Carried by the child with care.

7. The Clock
I'm fast asleep
Forgetting the time
The clock reminds me
Ring! Ring! Time to wake up!
The rooster rises early
The cat lazily naps at noon
But I must go to school
To be on time.

8. The Alarm Clock
The child's clock
Is so well-behaved, truly well-behaved!
Every morning it rings early
At the set time, the bell sounds
The child quickly wakes up
Exercises in rhythm
Then brushes teeth and rinses mouth
Responsibly sits down at the table
The child reviews old lessons
Alongside the sparrow friend
The puppy just woke up
Shakes its head in sleepy bliss
Since the clock arrived
The child never sleeps in
Doesn't disturb parents anymore
And becomes even more diligent.

9. The Sweeper
The Sweeper
How pitiful!
So old now
Still so diligent
Always sweeping the yard
Then sweeping the street
Whether it rains or storms
Or the sun shines through
He still stays busy
Obsessed with his work
Finishing cleaning the trash
Only then does he rest
Oh, Sweeper!
We feel for you so much!

10. The Bamboo Fan
Grandma gave me a fan
With red and green bamboo spokes
A small and delicate fan
I wave it to summon the breeze
I wish I could grow up quickly
Day and night, I fan for grandma
So she can sleep peacefully
My little hands call the wind.
