1. The New Kid at School
The New Kid at School
Still feeling shy
I teach my friend to sing
I invite them to play
Our teacher smiles
Praises us for our teamwork.

2. The Teacher's Lessons
Mother, mother, listen! The teacher teaches:
Always keep your hands clean,
If your hands are dirty,
Your books and clothes will get dirty too.
Mother, mother, listen! The teacher teaches:
Arguing isn't fun,
Your mouth is so lovely,
It should only speak kind words.

3. The Rooster Learns to Write
The first day at school
The teacher teaches the letter O
The rooster is so happy
Crowing loudly “o…oh”
Feeling sorry for the hen
Struggling with reading
Clucking around
Looking for a straw nest.
In the writing lesson
The rooster scratches and digs
The letters are crooked
Some are low, some are high.
The hen is delighted
Submitting her work to the teacher
The traditional method
Turns the egg perfectly round.
Little did they know, the hen
Practiced writing all night
The O was as round as an egg
And everyone admired it.

4. Getting Familiar with Numbers
There is only one sun
Rising to make the day
Humans have two hands
Born to work and play
1 comes after, 2 comes before
Look, 3 wheels on a rickshaw
Sleep and dreams intertwine
4 legs support the bed.
The flag is bright red
With five golden stars shining
The dice rolls with a jingle
Square and even, 6 sides appear.
From Monday to Sunday
There are seven days in a week
Why does the crab crawl sideways
With 8 legs moving around?
Hey friends, remember this
After 8 comes 9, then 10
Come here and learn with joy
The sun is still just 1.

5. The Little One Goes to Kindergarten
The little one goes to kindergarten
Riding in the car with mom
Oh, a little butterfly
Wants to fly along.
Butterfly, oh butterfly
Look at the white lilies
Look at the yellow chrysanthemums
The water flowers, fiery like flames
Blooming in the village pond…
The butterfly flies along
Does it forget the flowers?
The butterfly deceives mom
The butterfly loves to wander
The butterfly is so naughty
Mom doesn’t love it!
If the butterfly is good
And listens to mom’s words
It can go to kindergarten
On the car with mom.

6. The Seesaw
Wobble, wobble, on the seesaw
Jumping up with nimble feet
Rocking gently, moving just right
Up and down, so neat
The little one is like a kite
Flying in the wide blue sky
The little one is like a bird
Flapping wings in the bright, clear light
Friends are laughing with joy
Eyes squinted, their laughter rings
Oh, the full moon
Riding just past the little one’s feet!

7. The Seesaw
Wobble, wobble on the seesaw,
I rise, you fall,
The sky so vast, the earth so wide,
We take turns, swinging tall.
The clouds are high above our heads,
The breeze blows softly on the ground,
Smiles wide with eyes so squinted,
Carrying the sunlight all around.
If you want to rise up high,
You must go low first, they say,
Smiles so joyful, full of cheer,
Wobble, wobble, the seesaw’s play…

8. Friendship
Today at school
I noticed Brown Rabbit missing
The friends asked around
Where could Rabbit be?
Bear quickly shared
Rabbit is unwell
Let's all go visit him
Bear bought some sweet fruit
Juicy and refreshing
Cat brought lemons
To make a sour drink
Deer brought powdered milk
And the gazelle soy milk
We wish you speedy recovery
Let’s go back to school together
To study well and thrive
Be good and smart students
United in friendship's bond
True friends forever.

9. Thank You
In the morning, Little Rabbit was on the way to school,
When it accidentally dropped its pencil,
It was practicing letters and drawing,
Little Rabbit was feeling sad, about to cry.
Beside it was Squirrel,
Seeing the sadness, feeling sympathy,
Squirrel offered its box of pencils,
"Rabbit, let's share!" it said.
Later, it was time for art class,
Rabbit drew beautifully, the teacher praised,
Feeling moved, Rabbit stood up and said:
"Thank you, Squirrel!"

10. Shared Property
A small table,
A cute chair,
They belong to our class,
For us to sit and learn.
We don’t draw messily,
We don’t write carelessly,
Because they are shared items,
We take good care of them.
