The green days are gone, no longer within reach

Ships glide through the waves, sailing in the deep sea
Once again, I return, longing for that sky
A kite soaring high, drifting in the afternoon breeze
The whispering casuarina trees, as the waves crash
Seagulls fluttering, flying over the shifting sea
I return again, recalling the familiar paths
The harbor across the bridge at Xóm Bóng
The timeless Hòn Chồng waiting for eternity
Hòn Vợ, no longer separated, as if reunited
The Cham Tower casting its shadow on the water
The Hà Ra bridge gazing sorrowfully toward the sea
The ancient Chợ Đầm, the carts heavy with goods
At Thành crossroads, people come and go
I return to Nha Trang, wishing for something more!
Will I meet the old faces from years ago?
The hair once dark now faded with time
Autumn arrives, and memories of autumn past resurface
Oh, Nha Trang! How can I express this yearning?
Forever etched in the hearts of those who wander far
The traveler’s steps fade into the distant past
