1. Eat carbohydrates for breakfast

2. Drink milk

3. Sleep on time and get enough rest
According to a Fox News article from July 9, 2013, going to bed at a consistent time every night can significantly enhance brain power, particularly for children. A study involving 19,000 children in the UK revealed that three-year-olds who went to bed at irregular times scored lower on cognitive tests compared to those who followed a regular bedtime schedule throughout the week. Additionally, during sleep, the brain forms new memories, strengthens them, and connects them, creating a cohesive memory network. Therefore, sleep plays a crucial role in the processes of cellular division, learning coordination, and long-term memory consolidation.

4. Drink green tea
Green tea not only boosts immunity and helps fight disease but also provides various other benefits such as weight loss, preventing aging, cleaning teeth, and reducing cancer risks. Furthermore, according to a study by the University of Basel, drinking green tea can improve cognitive functions, particularly memory. Dr. Edward Okello, the head of the research team and CEO of the Medicinal Research Group at the University of Newcastle, stated: "Tea is known for its various benefits, such as increasing attention, keeping the mind alert, and providing relaxation." Both green and black tea have been shown to stimulate theta waves, which are linked to cognitive functions. Alpha and beta waves also increase, though to a lesser extent; these brain waves are proven to be associated with alertness, memory, and logical reasoning skills.

6. Speak Aloud
It's common to see students, especially before an exam or when memorizing a lesson, reading aloud rather than silently in their heads. They may even repeat each sentence loudly and connect them into a complete passage. This is not without reason, as studies show that speaking aloud what you want to remember can help you recall the information more effectively when needed.

7. Mental Math
It's important not to over-rely on computers, as this can cause your brain to become less active and responsive. Over time, this could make simple calculations increasingly difficult as you get older. For instance, if you regularly visit the market, you might observe how quickly shopkeepers can calculate prices with just a glance. To keep your mind sharp, practice mental math. Additionally, you can download mental math games on your phone, offering a fun and useful way to stay mentally fit.

8. Clenching Your Fist
Some American psychologists suggest that if we clench our right fist for 90 seconds, it enhances our ability to remember things like phone numbers or shopping lists. When we later clench our left fist, it helps us recall that information. Ruth Proper, the lead researcher from Montclair University, explains that simple gestures can activate key areas of the brain by temporarily altering its function. Try clenching your right fist before studying and your left fist before recalling what you've learned – it can significantly improve memory.

9. Exercise
A recent study published in Current Biology (Cell Press, June 2023) reveals that exercising a few hours after studying (around four hours later) can improve memory retention. This is even more effective than exercising right after learning or not exercising at all. Therefore, engaging in regular exercise can enhance both your physical fitness and long-term memory. Exercise also encourages the growth of new brain cells in the hippocampus, a region vital for memory and learning, while improving blood flow throughout the body and brain.

10. Study Before Sleeping
If you review your lessons before going to sleep, your brain will solidify the information overnight, making it much harder to forget. This technique enhances memory retention during sleep, as proven by scientists. While we sleep, our brain continues to work, processing the day's experiences and moving them to the parts of the brain responsible for long-term memory storage.
Sleep essentially helps summarize everything we've learned. So, take a moment to focus on the material you want to remember before heading to bed.
