1. Use Crushed Eggshells
This might sound unusual, but this method can effectively eliminate snails while being very cost-efficient. You can use eggshells from your kitchen, crush them, and scatter them around the base of your vegetable plants. When snails crawl over the sharp pieces of eggshell, they will feel discomfort and stop their advance, thus reducing damage to your garden beds.

2. Use Salt
Salt is a substance that snails strongly avoid. Simply sprinkle some salt around your plants and the snails will naturally move away.
However, this method is quite cruel as it causes the snails to suffer, writhing and foaming for an extended period before they die.
Be cautious when using salt, as it should not be applied directly on the vegetables, as it could kill the plants or cause the leaves to wither.

3. Raise Natural Predators
To eliminate snails, you can raise some natural predators to control the population of these mollusks.
Chickens, ducks, frogs, and toads are known to love eating snails, so keeping them can protect your crops. Additionally, raising chickens and ducks can offer economic benefits while also ensuring the health of your vegetable garden.

4. Use Agricultural Lime
The lime used here is agricultural lime, which is safe to use and not the type used in construction. Simply sprinkle a thin layer of lime on the soil surface and repeat this process 2–3 times a month. This will effectively eliminate the snails in your garden.

5. Use Orange Peels
After eating an orange, save the peels and place them around the base of your plants. The snails will be attracted to the orange peels, and you can easily collect and dispose of them, eliminating the snails in the process.

6. Use Hibiscus Leaves
Snails love eating hibiscus leaves, so simply cut some young hibiscus leaves and place them in a corner of your garden to trap them. Your task is then to collect both the branches and the snails and dispose of them in the trash.

7. Bột cà phê
Bột cà phê cũng có khả năng đuổi được ốc sên. Bạn dùng bột cà phê rắc quanh gốc hoặc hòa tan rồi phun lên thân và lá cây để xua đuổi ốc sên.

8. Garlic to Eliminate Snails
According to research by biologists at Newcastle University (Australia), garlic is one of the most effective substances for eliminating snails. The scientists explain that garlic is a natural enemy to snails, disrupting their nervous system and inhibiting their destructive activities on plants.
It's simple: crush garlic and scatter it around areas with high snail activity. The garlic will interfere with the snails' nervous system, causing them to produce mucus uncontrollably, eventually leading to their dehydration and death.

9. Use Pet Food Traps
Pet food, typically designed for pets, can be cleverly used to capture those pesky snails. You will need a small plastic bottle and some pet food (the more aromatic, the better to attract snails). Cut the bottle's opening in such a way that snails can crawl in but can't escape. Fill the bottle with pet food and wait. The tempting smell will lure the snails in, and they will crawl in and stay inside. The next step is simple: just dispose of the bottle far away.

10. Use Beer
Some farmers claim that this method is quite effective, though it can be a bit costly. Simply fill a container with beer and place it in the middle of your garden. The scent of the yeast will attract snails, who will crawl into the container and indulge in a 'drinking session.' Eventually, they will die due to the alcohol poisoning.
