The leaves are glossy, deep green, with prominent light green veins. The flower spathe is small and positioned on a long, curved stem. The spathe is bright red, oval-shaped with pointed tips, heart-shaped at the base, and marked with visible green veins. In Feng Shui, the anthurium represents love and hospitality. This plant is especially favorable for those with Fire or Earth elemental signs, bringing fortune and prosperity to these individuals. It is ideal as a decorative piece for desks, living rooms, reception areas, cafés, or any small corner of the home. The plant also serves as an air purifier.
Being an indoor plant, the anthurium is quite easy to care for, with its hermaphroditic flowers blooming continuously. To keep the plant healthy, simply pay attention to water and light. The soil should be kept at a humidity level of 70-80%, meaning you should water about 3/4 of the pot's capacity. In humid, cold weather, you may only need to water once a week, while in dry, hot conditions, watering twice a week is preferable. If the pot is too dry, the leaves will turn pale and droop. Conversely, overwatering can cause root rot, so be careful not to water excessively. The optimal temperature for anthurium is between 15-30°C. Below 15°C, the plant's growth slows, while temperatures above 30°C may cause yellowing or rotting leaves, and even death.
