I recently had a cold and felt really unwell.

I had a persistent cough, a runny nose, and a high fever.

On Friday, I stayed home from school and visited the doctor, where I even got a shot to help with my cold. I had to rest in bed all day to recover.

While I was sick, my mom took great care of me. She made me delicious meals, which helped me feel much better.

I really hope I don’t get sick again!

Among all the dishes, pizza is definitely my number one favorite. It’s an Italian creation made from pizza dough, cheese, and various toppings. You can enjoy it with extra cheese or a dash of hot sauce.

I have pizza at least once a month, often ordering it for delivery. Occasionally, I dine at a pizzeria with friends. My top choice is cheese-crust pizza, and when I'm really hungry, I can devour up to four slices.

In my opinion, winter is the best season.

During winter, the weather is typically cold, and sometimes it even reaches freezing temperatures. Despite this, I love winter because of the snow. Whenever it snows, I go skiing with my family.

Another thing I enjoy about winter is eating roasted sweet potatoes, which taste absolutely delicious.

The best part of winter, however, is Christmas. I always receive lots of presents from my parents and friends.

My best friend's name is Sarah. She has long wavy hair and striking blue eyes. Her face is round, and she's always full of energy. Sarah is very humorous and loves telling jokes that always make me laugh.

She enjoys dancing to music and dreams of becoming a dancer one day.

Sarah and I are in the same class, and we go to school together every morning.
