8. Building Reflexes Through Practice
If you are skilled at something, it means you have done it repeatedly, forming a conditioned reflex (a reflex adapted to your environment). If you're struggling in a subject and wish to improve, it's crucial to dedicate more time to practicing that subject. After several attempts, you'll become familiar with the reasoning behind it.
Similar to downloading a new game on your phone, the first time you play, you might not do well, but after hours of continuous play, you'll improve dramatically. This demonstrates that your brain has adjusted to control the game-playing actions. However, not everyone can force themselves to do something they find difficult, but it's important to realize that the more you challenge your brain, the more your intelligence will grow.

9. Utilize the entire brain, improve focus
There is significant evidence showing that listening to music, especially Baroque, offers numerous benefits. Not only does it enhance memory and focus at work, but it can also boost intelligence (IQ). So why is listening to music so beneficial for us? The brain consists of two hemispheres, each with different functions. To simplify, the left hemisphere assists in tasks involving data analysis, while the right hemisphere is linked to creativity, color, and music. When we concentrate on tasks, we predominantly engage the left hemisphere, leaving the right hemisphere "idle," making it prone to distractions, causing your mind to wander instead of focusing on the task at hand.
To counter this, many people have turned to the method of listening to music while working. During this time, you won’t focus on the music itself, but rather on completing your task. This allows you to not even notice the song being played. The effectiveness of this approach lies in preventing the right hemisphere from distracting you while also enabling you to engage both hemispheres of your brain.

10. Select the right information
To truly grasp a lesson or subject, the first step is to follow some fundamental practices like reading comprehension and note-taking to understand the information that books aim to convey. Don’t wait until the last minute to study because you won’t have the time to fully grasp the material, let alone memorize and apply it.
For quicker understanding and retention, use the keyword method to pinpoint essential information throughout the entire content. Avoid wasting time on unnecessary connecting words. Remember, the key information isn't always in every single word—by learning the keywords, you can fully understand the topic. Stop using boring rote memorization just to pass exams, only to forget everything afterward as if it never existed.
