1. Song: Going to School
GOING TO SCHOOL
Music: Bùi Đình Thảo
Poetry: Hoàng Minh Chính
The forest breeze whispers in the quiet hills
The stream's water murmurs softly
The palm trees spread their leaves for shade
The cool path that I walk.
Yesterday I went to school
My mother guided me every step
Today my mother went to the fields
And I walk to class alone
The birds play and sing in the trees
The fish in the stream quietly swim
The forest scent mixes with the smell of green rice
And I follow the scent to school.
My school is small
Quietly nestled among the trees
My teacher is young
She teaches me to sing beautifully
The forest breeze whispers in the quiet hills
The stream's water murmurs softly
The palm trees spread their leaves for shade
The cool path that I walk.
The forest breeze whispers in the quiet hills
The stream's water murmurs softly
The palm trees spread their leaves for shade
The cool path that I walk.
Yesterday I went to school
My mother guided me every step
Today my mother went to the fields
And I walk to class alone
The birds play and sing in the trees
The fish in the stream quietly swim
The forest scent mixes with the smell of green rice
And I follow the scent to school.

2. Song: The First Lesson
THE FIRST LESSON
Composer: Trương Xuân Mẫn
Teacher, I have memorized
The lesson from this morning
In the lecture, there was white chalk dust
Floating in the teacher's hair
The teacher's voice is like a song
The teacher's words are like poetry
They fill me with dreams
Leading me to a vast horizon
The first lesson
Brings images of mountains and rivers
Love for the fields
And the path our ancestors paved
The first lesson
Is the gentle lullaby from my mother
The white stork flies over the sweet folk song
The first lesson
The waves echo the language of the blue sea
The sails are full, carrying
The calls of our homeland
The first lesson
Thank you, teacher, for teaching me
The road to a bright future
Building a prosperous and beautiful nation
The first lesson, I have learned it well, teacher
It is the anthem of our nation
I will never forget it.

3. Song: The Song of the People's Teacher
THE SONG OF THE PEOPLE'S TEACHER
Composer: Hoàng Vân
Along the vibrant roads of the homeland, there are fragrant flowers, each full of color and scent, and songs that stir the hearts of those who listen. That song, that flower, is as beautiful as you, the people's teacher. Your spirit is as fresh and green as the shade of the banyan tree. Your heart burns with the same passion as the red flame of the phoenix flower. Like a bird soaring to every corner, you go, flying far across generations of Uncle Ho's grandchildren. Proud like you, a cultural soldier, growing up in the cradle of our homeland, Vietnam.
By the light of the late night, you have stayed awake countless nights, under the trenches of the people’s army, always present. There are many farewells, but they are filled with memories. Some hold a pen, others a rifle, some leave, but always carry those moments in their hearts. Your voice ignites many dreams of ideals, the heroic sounds of history when our ancestors built this country. You go sowing the seeds of beauty in countless hearts, following the path of revolutionary heroes who shine brightly. The youth by your side are the future of the nation, growing up in the cradle of Vietnam.

4. Song: The Rose for the Teacher
THE ROSE FOR THE TEACHER
Composer: Quốc Huy
I planted a rose vine in front of my house
I saved one for my dear teacher
The vine bloomed, competing with its fragrance
The sweet scent was that of the rose flower.
The rose tree I planted is a gift for my teacher
Its bright petals seem to celebrate the festive day
With the refreshing fragrance
Like the love and care my teacher has for us.
The rose tree
My heartfelt gift to you, dear teacher
Like the hands of a loving mother, gentle and kind.
Under the bright blue sky, the swallows flutter
As if calling out the lively autumn sun
Bringing the books to our side
Into the school, where autumn stirs us all.
The rose tree
I planted for my teacher
Grows with new shoots, its fragrance soft and pure
With clusters of flowers beginning to bloom
As the morning sun shines down
My hands gently pluck them, offering them to my teacher
Night after night, under the autumn sky
Offering you, the teacher, the beautiful rose.

5. Song: Memories of the Old School
MEMORIES OF THE OLD SCHOOL
Composer: Hàng Chương
Childhood passed like a dream, the memories of the old school are now gone, unexpected.
Once, we were beloved students, and no one left without carrying a sense of longing.
Every page of the yearbook held stories that remind me of the emotions I carry in my heart, day and night.
Though distance may separate us, the love will never fade...
Days quickly slip away, leaving behind countless memories
The kind, warm words filled with care, the passion of teachers guiding us
In our hearts, we silently promise to carry the lessons from our beloved teachers throughout our lives.
As we part ways and go in different directions, friends, don’t forget.
The words of the teacher helped me grow, their love and wisdom engraved in my soul.
The lessons of the past are unforgettable, as they shape the path that brings warmth to our lives today.
Tomorrow, wherever you may go, my friend, remember the cherished moments we shared
And carry the love we once had in your heart.
Feel the excitement, the longing, as the moment of farewell arrives.
The friends from those days, side by side, shared joy and sorrow.
Then, suddenly, a wave of sadness sweeps over me, my heart aching with emotion.
The rain falls softly, blurring my eyes, as memories fill my heart.
Days quickly slip away, leaving behind countless memories
The kind, warm words filled with care, the passion of teachers guiding us
In our hearts, we silently promise to carry the lessons from our beloved teachers throughout our lives.
As we part ways and go in different directions, friends, don’t forget.
I will always remember the old school, the memories that have passed
I will always remember the teachers from my youth, who are now far away
I will always remember, oh, how dear the friends were
These memories, I send back... in song!

6. Song: She Goes to Teach Children
SHE GOES TO TEACH CHILDREN
Composer: Nguyễn Văn Tý
In the spring, who goes to pick flowers
While she goes to teach children
Why does she want them to be healthy
Why does she want them to be well-behaved
Is it because she loves them so much
Those red lips, those round cheeks
She loves every bright eye
Sparkling like dewdrops
Sparkling like dewdrops
She loves every bright eye
Sparkling like dewdrops
Sparkling like dewdrops
One day when you grow up
Don’t forget the days in kindergarten
Forget the teacher who made you healthy
Forget the teacher who made you well-behaved
Forget the days when the teacher loved you
Those red lips, those round cheeks
The teacher loves every bright eye
Sparkling like dewdrops
Sparkling like dewdrops
The teacher loves every bright eye
Sparkling like dewdrops
Sparkling like dewdrops
Lá la là la la la lá
Lá la la lá la là la
Lá la là la la la lá
Lá la la lá la là la

7. Song: The Beloved School
THE BELOVED SCHOOL
Composer: Lê Quốc Thắng
Oh, the lush green trees beneath the beloved school,
There are birds singing softly, as if whispering,
For the happiness of childhood and to bring life to the world.
The teacher guides us with a heart full of devotion.
When the dawn breaks and the streets are still quiet,
When the dewdrops glisten on the leaves,
The teacher arrives at school, bringing love and dreams.
For every child’s bright eyes, for every gentle tune.
Like... the peaceful time flowing through the years,
Like... the river flowing gently with the breeze,
Bringing the teacher’s love to us,
To build our homeland and a bright future.

8. Song: The First Day of School - Nguyễn Ngọc Thiện
THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Composer: Nguyễn Ngọc Thiện
On the first day of school,
Mom holds my hand to take me to class,
I walk while crying,
Mom comforts me with love.
On the first day of school,
My eyes are filled with tears,
The teacher gently reassures me,
Oh, how sincere!
The first day was like this,
The teacher is like a loving mother,
Now I believe,
The teacher is like a fairy.
Now that I’m grown, I still remember the past,
The first day of school, when mom and the teacher comforted me.

9. Song: The Teacher - Nguyễn Nhất Huy
THE TEACHER
Composer: Nguyễn Nhất Huy
The teacher still quietly walks to and from work each day,
Every day, drops of sweat stain the pages.
To help me reach the shores of my dreams,
Through the long years of storms and rains,
The white flowers still sparkle in the old garden.
The teacher still quietly walks in the rain,
The flow of life gently continues each day,
In the evening, many people wait and greet,
The lonely river now feels the wind and rain,
Who remembers, who forgets the old boat.
Chorus:
Though the years pass by endlessly,
And countless leaves fall each season,
The teacher came like thousands of rays of sunshine,
Illuminating my path through life.
I still remember when the rain fell,
The old jacket worn on his shoulders,
The teacher still walks, through joy and sorrow, quietly.
Though the years pass by endlessly,
The green hair now fades to grey,
The teacher still stands by the schoolyard from that time,
Watching my steps as I journey through life,
Even if I count all the stars in tonight’s sky,
Even if I count all the leaves falling this autumn,
But how can I ever count the teacher’s infinite kindness.

10. Song: Chalk Dust
CHALK DUST
Composer: Vũ Hoàng
When the teacher writes on the board,
Chalk dust falls, drifting down.
Are there any dust particles
That land on the teacher’s desk?
Are there any particles
That rest upon the teacher’s hair?
Chorus:
I love these moments,
My teacher’s hair now turning grey,
Greying because of the chalk dust,
Bringing us valuable lessons.
One day when I grow up,
How could I ever forget
The days when the teacher taught me
When I was just a child?
