5. White Ban Flower Season
To enjoy the subtle fragrance of White Ban Flowers along the streets, visit Dalat during the late Spring season. This is the time when Dalat changes its "outfit" from the Mai Anh Dao flowers lining the streets to the beautiful White Ban Flowers. The White Ban Flower is a unique species found only in Dalat, so there's no need to travel all the way to the cold Northern mountains to admire it. This flower symbolizes fidelity in love, representing the pure and lasting affection between couples from the Thai ethnic group.
You can view these flowers on streets such as: Tran Phu - Con Ga Church - Dinh 2, Quang Trung - Dalat Train Station - Phan Chu Trinh intersection, Phu Dong Thien Vuong... Especially along Tran Phu Street, where a 1.5 km stretch is lined with hundreds of Ban Trees, each bursting into clusters of white blossoms, creating a stunning visual display across the area.

6. The Everlasting Flower Season
Under the vast autumn sky, there is a flower that intrigues the people of Dalat: the Everlasting Flower. This flower, resembling a Chrysanthemum, blooms throughout the year but reaches its peak beauty during the autumn season in Dalat. The Everlasting Flower symbolizes enduring love and longevity. Not only does it charm with its fresh blooms, but its dried form is also highly popular, with many visitors taking it home as a souvenir from their time in Dalat.
In Dalat, the Everlasting Flower is most commonly found in the areas surrounding Prenn Waterfall (Group 19, Ward 3). Here, colorful fields of Everlasting Flowers bask in the sunlight, accompanied by the peaceful sounds of the water flowing around the waterfall. Located at the base of Prenn Pass on National Highway 20, which connects Saigon to Dalat, this spot is an easy gateway to the city, just 10 meters south of the city center. Another location within the city that is known for its Everlasting Flower fields is the Than Tho Lake Tourist Area, where more than one hectare of Everlasting Flowers creates a beautiful and timeless sight. Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of these long-lasting blooms and capture stunning photographs.

7. Pink Grass Flower Season
In December, a vibrant pink sky emerges as the Pink Grass Flowers bloom across Dalat's land. This wildflower is known for its strong vitality, constantly radiating pink across hills and deep valleys. While rare, it flourishes uniquely in Dalat, making the city its special home, just as its name suggests. Fragile yet undeniably charming, this flower showcases its beauty in the expansive Pink Grass fields.
If you wish to witness the “one-of-a-kind” beauty of the snow grass hills, you must plan to visit early in the morning, when the sun has yet to rise. At this time, the stunning grass is still covered in sparkling, pure morning dew.
From a distance, these grass clusters resemble delicate white snowflakes, shyly revealing themselves in Dalat’s cool, crisp air. This is why the name “snow grass hills” was coined.
Not everywhere in Dalat has the Pink Grass, so if you want to see the most beautiful fields of sparkling, connected grass forests, make sure to visit the Golden Stream and Golden Valley areas.

8. Lavender Flower Season
If you've ever fallen in love with the dreamy shade of purple, a visit to Dalat is a must. Here, you'll find endless fields of Lavender flowers stretching under the vast sky. Lavender, a flower symbolizing longing, steadfast love, and delicate waiting, originates from faraway France, but Dalat is the only place in Vietnam where you can find such stunning lavender fields. It's Dalat's unique climate that nurtures this enchanting flower, whose delicate beauty captures the heart. "This flower carries a soft sorrow – a symbol of waiting and distant longing."
The lavender fields in Dalat are most prominent in the Vạn Thành Flower Village. When you visit, the first thing you'll notice is rows of lavender plants, their deep purple hues filling the landscape, much like the lavender fields in Europe that you often see in pictures. The best part is that you can visit for free, with no admission fees, so feel free to take as many photos as you like.

9. The Season of Wild Sunflowers and Mimosa Flowers
As October arrives and winter draws near, Dalat is bathed in the bright yellow hues of wildflowers. If you visit Dalat during this transition from late autumn to early winter, you'll be mesmerized by the stunning sight of Wild Sunflowers and Mimosa flowers blooming all around, turning the entire landscape into a sea of gold. The Wild Sunflower, a hardy flower from the sunny highlands of Central Vietnam, brings a burst of brightness to Dalat’s chilly atmosphere. The golden flowers line the roads, adding warmth to the coolness of October’s misty mornings.
As the weather gradually cools further into winter and the Wild Sunflowers begin to fade, the small Mimosa flowers start to bloom, greeting the colder weather. Often seen as a symbol of Dalat, the Mimosa also carries a golden glow and blooms in harmony with the Wild Sunflowers. The Mimosa’s fragrance is one of love—romantic yet not delicate, bold yet graceful. These two contrasting flowers, each with their own distinct charm, add to the allure of Dalat as it enters winter.

10. Hydrangea Flowers
For those planning to visit Dalat, make sure not to miss the iconic flower of this land of a thousand blooms – the Hydrangea. The clusters of round-shaped flowers in white, blue, and purple create a breathtaking sight, weaving together a stunning hydrangea garden that will leave every visitor in awe.
Hydrangeas bloom year-round in Dalat, but the peak season spans from August through the end of the year, when the flowers burst into full bloom, filling the air with beauty. One of the most popular spots among young travelers to admire Hydrangeas is the Trại Mát Farm.
In addition to the Hydrangea fields at Trại Mát, visitors can explore other Hydrangea gardens in Dalat, including smaller ones at the Clay Tunnel or in Lạc Dương District. The Hydrangea fields in the Clay Tunnel tourist area are particularly well-known and attract many visitors throughout the year.
