1. Visiting Tan Trao to Remember Uncle Ho
The path is bathed in sunlight, parting the mist. The hills and mountains stretch endlessly, the road winding around them. Stilt houses dot the landscape, the riverbank with cassava fields and corn waving in the breeze. You can almost hear the cheers of the people, celebrating the sinking of the French ship in the Lo River. Here lies the sacred Tan Trao, the birthplace of the revolution in our country. The Hong Thai communal house and the ancient banyan tree, the Nà Lừa hut... where Uncle Ho once passed through, leaving us with memories of a fervent time. We recall how the whole nation rose against the French, breaking free from oppression and forging a new destiny. This mountainous region became a strategic base, the French invaders were like fog that eventually dispersed. Nine years of struggle, with Dien Bien Phu standing as a testament to our victory. Tan Trao, a place that remains unchanged, where General Vo Nguyen Giap swore under the revolutionary flag. The National Congress held here marked the beginning of our freedom and independence, fulfilling Uncle Ho's dream. Returning here only strengthens our love and admiration for him...!!!

2. Returning to Tuyen
Tonight, I lie here with Tuyen Quang, resting by the Lô River flowing at my bedside, near the ancient banyan tree by the river, and above me, the famous tree of Ha Giang. Tonight, I return to the years of hardship, the resistance struggle against invaders, the relentless winds and constant rains. The leaves whisper in the rain as the sky soaks everything, and the command post in the forest, cold as it pierces through the blanket. Tonight, I return to myself, lying here, my ear pressed to the pillow, filled with love for this land, savoring the bittersweet memories of the resistance, from the streets of Tam Co to the village of Y La. The Lô River, flowing gracefully on both sides, the corn swaying gently, the sugarcane leaves sharp and bright. The winding, narrow paths, the humble houses scattered across the village, where I once walked along these roads. Oh land of Tuyen Quang, so deeply intertwined with my soul that even when I leave, I cannot sever the bond. Tuyen Quang, Tuyen Quang, where do I end and where does the land begin? This land, this place, feels like part of my very spirit.

3. Returning to Tuyen Quang
The day you return to Tuyen Quang, Tan Trao, Hong Thai… the melody of freedom flows gently. The majestic Mo Waterfall, in its youthful glory, welcomes you into the dreamlike world. My Lam with its mineral springs waits patiently, where we relax and let the poetry soar to the sky. Nà Hang, a haven of nature, beckons you. Passing through Pắc Tạ, the mountains stretch endlessly. The cascading waterfall at Lan, its spray catching the light, stands as a silent observer of humble homes. Stepping away from the Lower Temple, every moment feels sacred as we head towards the Upper Temple, where reverence has lingered for ages. The Dao people’s festival of the Sacrifice Ceremony fills the air with the sounds of drums and gongs, reverberating across the sky. The Tanh well, the fragrant rice pounding, stir the hearts of all who visit. The embroidered fabrics of Lang Can are a true treasure, while Vinh Tan's lush tea hills beckon with their vibrant green. Love and time have shielded these lands. Meeting you, with your bright blue eyes, fills my heart. What food do you fancy? The rich flavor of the sticky rice cakes from Chiem Hoa, the river fish from the Lô River, the corn wine, and the Khai cake… who will make the first move? The sweet, sticky corn from Soi Liêm reminds me of you, with your long, flowing hair. Tuyen Quang feels so close, and the kiss of youth lingers on my lips.

4. The Girl from Tuyen Quang
Tuyen Quang’s traditional wine and Thai tea, the girl of Tuyen. Your name, one single word, carries all the charm. I've known you for so long, yet today I send you these lines of poetry. Your smile, radiant and bright, reflects a soul so pure, full of life. Together we sip the full cup of wine, lifting it to taste the intoxicating strength of love. Your cheeks glow with a rosy hue. Your arched brows, your lips, so sweet with the flavor of the wine. This love, like a lightning strike, fills me with emotion, and these words are for you, my dear.

5. I'll Return to Tuyen Quang
This Mid-Autumn Festival, I’ll return to Tuyen Quang. The lantern parade fills the streets with vibrant energy, and all worries melt away as we join the joyous crowd, feeling carefree. This year, I’ll remember... let’s come back to Tuyen City, where endless joy awaits. Just one more visit to keep the memories alive. And even if we part tomorrow, I’ll never forget. In September, I’ll return to your hometown, where the autumn sun paints the leaves golden. The grapefruit in Xuan Van is sweet and ripe, and the festival feast will delight us for months. Tonight, the streets shimmer with color, Tuyen City youth bridges the past and present. The friendly smiles of Tuyen Quang people are simply irresistible. The sound of drums fills the air, marking the passage of time. The full moon shines brightly on Mid-Autumn night, as the Lion and Dragon dance to the rhythm of music. September arrives, stirring my heart with excitement. The fragrance of fresh rice fills the air, and the night is alive with the festival spirit. Somewhere, someone’s eyes are lost in the moonlight.

6. The Return to Tuyen Quang
The ancient house of the Mac dynasty still stands, its old features preserved. The old banyan tree casts a long shadow, deep in thought. The large bridge stretches across to Nong Tien, while the Dung Mountain moonlight continues to inspire poets... Tuyen Quang, here I am again. A place filled with longings and quiet nostalgia. New constructions shine with reflections on the water, but the red-leaved maple tree still stands through every winter. Tuyen Quang, here I am again. The sun shines warmly, no matter where it falls. Phan Thiet, Xuan Hoa, the riverside spots full of memories, and the di lang flowers gently sway as the afternoon passes by. Tuyen Quang, here I am again. The taste of green tea still lingers on my lips. Mother, tirelessly working from dawn to dusk, with silver hair, always devoted to the land and its people. Tuyen Quang, though joy and sorrow may visit, the Lô River swells with water each season. The fertile soil nurtures kind-hearted lives, and the land of the old resistance remains ever green and vibrant.

7. Back to Tuyen Quang
Today, I return to the city of Tuyen Quang. Guided by the verses that lead the way, I find myself near the Lo River, the banyan tree awaiting by the banks. The streets are red, the fields are golden, and the evenings are peaceful. The roads are unfamiliar, winding gently, with trees standing silently, their branches spreading wide to shield from the sun. Beneath their shade, I feel no desire to leave. Truly, this place is mesmerizing. The mountains, the forests, all full of vitality. The flow of the Lo River, carrying with it the warmth of human connection, drifts gently while boats glide smoothly across its surface. The historical landmarks remain intact, preserving the ancient glory of the Mac dynasty, the stronghold of our ancestors who sacrificed to protect the land. I dream of one day traveling back and forth, to visit Tuyen Quang, to see its people, and its landscapes. I’ve heard that the women of Tuyen Quang are beautiful, talented, and virtuous. I long for the day I can finally return.

8. Returning to Tuyen Quang
It's been a while since I returned to Tuyen Quang, and today I’m amazed at how much has changed. Tuyen Quang is now more beautiful than ever, with towering buildings and stunning streets that captivate any traveler. The majestic Song Long Mountains stand tall, while Na Hang, with its crystal-clear water, sparkles under the sky. The Phạ stone cairns rise precariously, and Lâm Sơn offers a breathtaking landscape, as if the heavens themselves have painted this land. Pác Pan, the beautiful girl with a timeless figure, stands silently, her gaze ever-fixed on her distant lover. The tears she sheds form a waterfall, cascading down the cliffs, while the high passes conceal travelers on their journey through Nặm Pàn. My heart aches for the one who weeps at Pác Ban, for their sorrow flows like the Mơ Waterfall. Where is the girl waiting for me at Pắc Tạ, by the Nậm Rượu River, the source of countless poetic dreams? Ba Waterfall, with its three mighty tiers, stands as a testament to the raw beauty of nature, while the tranquil mountain village enchants every visitor with its peaceful ambiance. Mỹ Lâm’s hot spring baths rejuvenate the soul, with healing massages that transport you to a peaceful paradise. The Nà Lừa huts remind me of a distant past, as revolutionary leaders paved the way for a brighter future. Tân Trào and Hồng Thái stir memories of the revolutionary days, as the headquarters of the central government led the nation toward independence. History will forever remember these moments, as the birthplace of the revolution that shaped the country’s future. The serene Hồ Khởn, with its inviting fruits and tranquil boats, draws visitors from all over the world. The people, the landscape, and the women of Tuyen Quang all exude an unmatched beauty, a peace that is unrivaled anywhere in Vietnam.

9. Tuyen Quang, the Love in My Heart
Come, my friend, to Tuyen Quang, our homeland, where the green forest stands proudly and the Lô River flows endlessly, carrying a timeless melody of love. As we pass through the tea gardens, the bamboo groves beside the ripening rice fields stretch wide, while the herons soar freely above. Together, we walk towards Tân Trào, the heart of the revolution. We hear the whispers of the stream, each drop telling a tale of old. The water flows from the river to the great ocean, just as we join hands to build a new Tuyen Quang. The city shines bright, like countless stars in the sky. Those who cross the Lô River by boat will remember its beauty through the changing seasons. We climb the mountain roads to Xuân Hòa, dreaming beneath the shadow of Dùm mountain, where the church bells ring. When the red phoenix flowers bloom, and the purple Lagerstroemia lines the river, we wait for each other. How much we love Tuyen Quang! You've returned to me, walking along the bridges as the evening train whistles in the distance. We meet again, as the sunset colors the Lô River in shades of purple. You tilt your hat and smile, and I will always remember the beautiful girl from Tuyen Quang. Tuyen Quang will forever live in my heart.

10. The Ancient Banyan Tree of Tân Trào, A Thousand Years of History
The mighty branches stretch wide, casting a vast shadow. Even when storms rage, the tree stands tall and unafraid. Proud and regal, its trunk remains strong, while its roots dig deep into the earth, unwavering. The scars of battle are etched in its bark, a reminder of the fight against invaders. The cries of war are captured in the thunderous roar of gunfire, yet the tree endures. A thousand years of history will forever remember its strength and resilience. The branches continue to stretch, casting their shade far and wide.
