1. Tofu Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 piece of tofu
- Oatmeal, crackers, cornflakes, or rice sprouts
- Some herbs and/or seasonings
Instructions:
- Step 1: Cut the tofu into small, bite-sized pieces for the baby
- Step 2: Crush the prepared oatmeal/crackers and add a little seasoning, then mix it with the tofu until the coating evenly covers the tofu
- Step 3: Serve the tofu balls on a plate for the baby to grab and eat
Soft and smooth tofu is perfect for babies who have not yet grown teeth.


2. Crispy Coated Tofu
Ingredients:
- 1 piece of tofu
- ¼ cup of flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 cup of crushed dry bread or crackers
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of bell pepper powder
- A pinch of ground pepper
Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to about 180°C
- Step 2: Cut the tofu into small, bite-sized pieces
- Step 3: Spread flour on a plate
- Step 4: Separate the egg yolks and pour them into a shallow plate
- Step 5: Add the remaining ingredients to the egg yolk plate
- Step 6: Dip each tofu piece into the flour, then into the egg yolks, then coat with the crushed bread crumbs. Use the bell pepper powder to give color or bake it with the tofu in the oven
- Step 7: Place the tofu in the oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes or until crispy, then remove and serve with sweet potato or peach sauce for extra flavor


3. Crispy Fried Cheese-Wrapped Broccoli
Ingredients:
- Frozen broccoli, pre-cooked, drained, and chopped
- 1 cup of seasoned breadcrumbs (can be substituted with baby oatmeal)
- 1 cup of small cheese cubes
- 5 egg yolks (can be replaced with pureed fruits or vegetables)
- Olive oil to grease the baking tray
Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180-200°C
- Step 2: Lightly grease the baking tray with olive oil and set aside
- Step 3: Mix all the prepared ingredients together and add pureed fruits or vegetables to replace the eggs. Optionally, you can also add some spices like garlic powder, pepper, thyme, or oregano for extra flavor
- Step 4: Shape the mixture into bite-sized pieces and arrange them on the baking tray
- Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, then flip and bake for another 15 minutes. Serve when warm, and break into smaller pieces for easy eating for the little ones


4. Mini Banana Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1-2 ripe bananas (not too overripe or too soft)
- Pancake batter
Instructions:
- Step 1: Slice the bananas into thin rounds
- Step 2: Sprinkle pancake batter evenly over the banana slices
- Step 3: Fry the banana slices until the batter turns golden brown. Serve while warm for the best taste.


5. Brazilian-Style Fried Bananas
Ingredients:
- 1-2 bananas
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
- Step 1: Peel and slice the bananas lengthwise
- Step 2: Heat butter in a small frying pan until it melts
- Step 3: Add the banana slices and fry for about 5 minutes, then flip them. The bananas will become soft and may break into pieces
- Step 4: Continue frying for another 5 minutes until both sides turn golden brown
- Step 5: Sprinkle cinnamon powder and/or sugar on the fried bananas, then serve warm for your little one to enjoy.


6. Butter Milk Crepes
Ingredients:
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 avocado
- 50ml powdered milk
Instructions:
- Step 1: Sift the flour to ensure the crepes are soft and smooth.
- Step 2: Peel the avocado and mash or blend it until smooth.
- Step 3: Mix the flour, avocado, and milk thoroughly to form a smooth batter.
- Step 4: Heat a pan with a little olive oil, scoop a spoonful of batter and pour it into the pan, spreading it evenly. Cook on low heat until the crepe is soft and dry, then roll it up.


7. Seaweed Shrimp Cakes
Ingredients:
- 50g peeled and cleaned shrimp
- 30g beaten egg
- 65g all-purpose flour
- 15g unsalted butter
- A small amount of crushed seaweed
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Step 1: Steam the shrimp until cooked, then blend into a paste. Dry roast the shrimp paste in a pan to make shrimp powder.
- Step 2: Mix the flour with butter and a pinch of salt, then add the shrimp powder, seaweed, and beaten eggs. Use your hands to knead until everything is well combined.
- Step 3: Divide the dough into small portions, shape them as desired, and bake at 170°C for about 18 minutes.

8. Chicken Skewers with Apple Sauce
Ingredients:
- Approximately ½ kg of ground chicken
- 1 whole egg or 2 beaten egg yolks
- ½ cup of finely grated carrots
- ¼ cup of apple sauce
- ¼ cup of whole wheat flour or unprocessed oats
- ¼ cup of breadcrumbs
- A pinch of dried oregano
- A pinch of garlic powder
Instructions:
- Step 1: Combine the ground chicken with the egg yolks, grated carrots, apple sauce, seasonings, breadcrumbs, and flour. Mix thoroughly. If the mixture feels too dry, add more grated carrots or apple sauce. If it's too runny, add more flour or breadcrumbs.
- Step 2: Grease a baking tray with olive oil and spread the mixture evenly. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes or until a knife can be inserted into the center and comes out clean. Optionally, you can cover the tray with foil to prevent the top from drying or burning.
- Step 3: Once baked, let the dish cool before removing it from the tray and cutting it into slices. Slice it further into small, bite-sized pieces suitable for your child to pick up or mash.
For toddlers who can handle chunkier food, cut the pieces into smaller strips, making them easier for little hands to grab.


9. Chicken Coated with Flour / Cereal
Ingredients:
- 5 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin slices (or you can use about ½ kg of boneless, skinless chicken breast)
- ½ cup of corn flour
- ½ cup of wheat germ
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of minced garlic
- Seasonings: thyme, oregano, a pinch of pepper (optional or skip)
Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to around 180°C (350°F).
- Step 2: Cut the chicken into small chunks and place them in a food processor to blend.
- Step 3: Mix the seasonings together in equal amounts by hand (a pinch or a dash of each).
- Step 4: Add the remaining ingredients into the processor. If you prefer not to use egg, you can substitute it with 1 tablespoon of water.
- Step 5: Transfer the mixture into a bowl and shape it into small, fun shapes. Make sure to moisten your hands or lightly coat them with oil to prevent the mixture from sticking.


10. Fried Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 6 medium-sized sweet potatoes
- Some flour for coating
- Cooking oil
- Seasonings: cinnamon, ginger, brown sugar
Instructions:
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to about 200°C (400°F).
- Step 2: Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly, leaving the skin on or peel them if you prefer.
- Step 3: Cut the sweet potatoes into slices or long rounds. You can cut them into smaller pieces after baking if desired.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, add ¼ cup of olive oil, cinnamon, ginger, and a pinch of brown sugar.
- Step 5: Dip the sweet potato slices into the seasoning mix and toss them to coat evenly.
- Step 6: Arrange the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle the remaining oil mixture over them. Bake for about 30-45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
