1. Celery
Celery is a member of the Apiaceae family, scientifically known as Apium graveolens. It is commonly grown in Vietnam as a vegetable. In the past, celery grew wild on the outskirts of forests, terraced fields, or in marshy areas in Bình Định, Quảng Ngãi, and other places.
Researchers have analyzed the chemical composition of celery. The vegetable contains 90.5% water, 1.95% nitrogen compounds, 0.07% fat, 1.15% cellulose, and 1.13% ash. It also contains vitamins A, B, C, and essential minerals such as Mg, Mn, Fe, I, Cu, K, Ca, along with vitamin P, choline, tyrosine, and glutamic acid. After distillation, celery yields 2-3% colorless, light, fragrant essential oil. The leaves are narrow, lance-shaped, smooth on top, and slightly hairy underneath with jagged leaf sheaths. The flower cluster grows at the base of the stem, sprawling, thin, smooth, and surrounded by many scales that gradually transform into bracts. The flowers are purple and white with short stems and three short lobes.
To treat stomachaches with cardamom seeds, simply purchase the seeds, wash them, and soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes before drinking. For best results, take this remedy three times a day before meals. This will significantly relieve your stomach pain.
