How to Play:
- Birthday Celebration: Can be held individually for each child on their birthday or collectively for all children with birthdays in the same week or month.
- At their birthday party, each child introduces themselves and shares their feelings about the celebration with the class.
- The class gives birthday gifts to the birthday child and offers well wishes.
- Children perform artistic activities, followed by enjoying cake, sweets, and fruit.
- At the end of the birthday party: The birthday child thanks the classmates who attended and says goodbye as they leave.

2. Supermarket Shopping Game (Career Theme)
Objective: Enhance language skills and recognition of various items.
Preparation: A store with various educational supplies and toys (pencils, colored markers, notebooks, storybooks, dolls, stuffed animals, etc.).
How to Play: A group of children take turns playing the role of shopkeepers and organize the toys based on their function. Other children visit the shop, select the items they need, place them in a shopping basket, and proceed to the checkout counter. After completing the transaction, both the seller and buyer thank each other and say goodbye.

3. Clothing Store Game (Career Theme)
When participating in the cooking game, children will have the chance to invent their own unique play methods and learn to share toys while enjoying time with their friends. They can become skilled chefs or cheerful shopkeepers, selling goods to their young friends. To make the game more engaging, children will think of and create their own imaginative dishes. Playing with friends and siblings helps children develop collaboration skills, share with others, assign tasks, and resolve any conflicts that arise during play. This experience will greatly increase their confidence and sociability.

4. Cooking Game (Career Theme)
In the cooking game, children are encouraged to develop their own creative play styles and learn to share toys while having fun with friends. They might take on the role of a talented chef or a fun shopkeeper, selling items to their little friends. To make the game more exciting, children will come up with and prepare their own unique meals. As they play with friends, kids learn to cooperate, share, assign tasks, and manage conflicts that come up during the game. This will help them become more confident and sociable.
Within the game, some children might pretend to be customers in a restaurant or even fake being sick, allowing the others to realize the importance of their roles and how everyone depends on each other for help.
Children will cook meals to satisfy their customers or prepare a bowl of soup to care for the 'sick.' Through this, they will gradually learn the value of looking after others. Teachers should remind them to clean up after the game, helping them develop the good habit of tidying up before moving on to the next task. Over time, this will foster an understanding of responsibility and caring for others, helping children grow into thoughtful, organized, and considerate individuals.

6. Veterinarian Game (Career Theme)

The teacher assigns children to play the role of a veterinarian, examining animals. This game also helps children learn terms related to body parts through their play.
Materials Needed:
- Toy animals such as chickens, pigs, ducks, rabbits, etc.
- Veterinary tools and equipment

7. Refreshment Stand Game (Seasonal Theme)
For the water-themed activity, a refreshing beverage stand game is a great idea for teachers to try. Set up a beverage stand with options like coconut water, sugarcane juice, orange juice, lime, and fruit juices. Also, explain to the children that these drinks are healthy and help cool them down during the summer heat.

8. Doctor Roleplay Game (Career Theme)
In this game, one child plays the patient while the others act as doctors and nurses. The doctor examines the patient, and the nurse assists by following the doctor’s instructions, with the patient complying. Through this roleplay, children can gain a sense of control over situations that might otherwise seem daunting. A visit to the doctor or hospital will be easier to understand and can be quite helpful for children if the teacher uses roleplay to explain unfamiliar concepts.
To keep the children engaged and help them learn during the game, teachers should provide clear, specific instructions on how to play the doctor role: how to speak, act, and use the tools. For example, before entering the doctor’s office, explain exactly what will happen: “You may have to wait a bit in the waiting room,” “You might need to take off your clothes,” “The nurse will want to take your temperature,” “Everyone will wear white coats,” and so on, so the children know what to expect when visiting the doctor and feel comfortable with the caregivers.
Typically, children play doctor in small group activities. Here, they get to immerse themselves in the role of a doctor, which helps develop their language skills while communicating with peers.
Items needed for the doctor roleplay:
- Stethoscope
- Doctor’s hat
- Bandages
- Medical tools

9. The Sales Game (Also Known as the Toy Shop Game) (Career Theme)
This game is designed to help children better understand the concept of trade while also recognizing the value of the items around them.
Preparation: A variety of toy items representing food, such as cakes, candies, vegetables, fruits, shrimp, and fish. (If possible, the teacher can prepare real vegetables and fruits such as spinach, water spinach, radish, plums, tangerines, etc.)
How to Play:
The children are divided into two groups. One group will play as the sellers, organizing the food items by category.
The other group will play as customers and make requests. For example: “Excuse me, can I have some spinach?” or “Please give me some plums.” The customers will pay for their items and say thank you. Both the customer and the seller will exchange farewells after the transaction is completed.

10. The "Family" Game (Family Theme)
The family game is crucial for children's development in language, emotions, and communication. Children as young as 1.5 years old begin to engage in pretend play, initially by imitating themselves, such as pretending to drink from a cup. At this stage, the play content and props are drawn from daily life activities, like pretending to give a stuffed dog a drink. After the age of 2, children's imagination continues to grow, and as they age, their cognitive abilities improve, making the family game scenarios more complex. For example, in a child's family game:
The teacher assigns roles such as father, mother, and child. The parents love, care for, and worry about their child's well-being when they are ill. The child listens to and respects their parents. Through this game, the teacher can introduce new situations to keep the play evolving.
In the first few days, children can role-play as parents or children cooking meals in the family. Later, the teacher can broaden the theme by adding grandparents visiting, the family shopping for groceries at a supermarket, or celebrating a child's birthday. In the following days, the teacher can create scenarios like the family visiting a construction site or going to the park. To ensure the game runs smoothly, the teacher needs to offer guidance and actively participate, helping to keep the play exciting and preventing repetition.
