From January to March, you’ll find plum and ban flowers; in October, it's time for buckwheat flowers; and the mustard flower fields await you to check in at any time. Visiting Moc Chau means you can’t miss the chance to take photos with the flowers. They've become a symbol of the region, making it a unique tourist experience. However, as this has become a service, there is usually a fee of about 10,000 VND per person per flower field. But if you're in a large group, try to negotiate a group price of around 10,000 – 20,000 VND for all participants to check in at each field.

2. Try Sausage with Lam Rice
If you don't try the sausages in Moc Chau, you're missing out on a huge local delicacy. While the most famous dish in Moc Chau is certainly smoked buffalo meat, if you're on a budget, the sausages are still a delicious option. At 35,000 VND per 100g of sausage and 25,000 VND for a tube of lam rice, you'll be more than satisfied with a tasty lunch in the midst of the stunning mountains of the Northwest.

3. Trek Down the Treacherous Xap Stream Path
Xap Stream lies beneath the Dai Yem Waterfall, though for some unknown reason, the waterfall no longer flows. However, the water in the Xap Stream is still wonderfully cool, crystal clear, and sweet, making it a perfect relief from the long journey. There are two ways to reach the stream: one is an easy, flat dirt path right at the start of the descent, safe from slipping. But if you're not careful, you might miss another hidden path behind some trees near the Dai Yem Waterfall. This second path is far steeper and requires climbing and using ropes, but it's definitely the most fun route to take. Along the way, you'll even cross a tree trunk to reach the other side of the stream. Regardless of the path you choose, be sure to scoop some water from the stream and splash it on your face to feel the refreshing chill of the Northwest mountains.

4. Hike to the Summit of Pha Luong
The path to the summit of Pha Luong is quite challenging and dangerous. The most perilous section of the route to the top spans about 10 km. However, reaching the peak of Pha Luong will leave you with no regrets. Once you stand at the summit, you’ll have a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains and forests, perfect for stunning photos. At the top, you'll also experience the sensation of touching the clouds and witness a vast mountain landscape enveloped in the early morning mist.

5. Play the 'Cow Game' at Midnight with Your Friends
When night falls, don’t rush to sleep. How often do you get to travel with your friends like this? 8. Ride a Motorbike Through Moc Chau
If you haven’t already ridden a motorbike to Moc Chau, then once you arrive, make sure to rent one and explore the tourist spots on your own. Without a motorbike, you’ll miss out on some incredibly fun experiences and beautiful views that can only be truly appreciated when riding. If you’re worried about the safety of riding, rest assured—if you're sticking to nearby spots like Ban Ang Pine Hill, Heart-Shaped Tea Hill, or Dai Yem Waterfall, the roads are flat and easy. The rental price for a motorbike in Moc Chau is 200,000 VND per bike. Before you take off, check the brakes and other equipment for safety. To explore the whole day, you'll only need to spend around 30,000 VND for gas.
