1. Excellent grades are possible with dedication
However, Bach Khoa still has a number of male students who study diligently, take thorough notes, and achieve top grades because they know how to study effectively and absorb knowledge well. This type of student is rare, valued at Bach Khoa, and affectionately called 'heroic oxen' by the general public.

2. Hard work isn’t enough without luck
Similar to the fourth type of student, this one also studies diligently, attends classes, and completes assignments thoroughly, knowing just how much knowledge they possess. However, these students sometimes fail due to encountering a 'deathly' exam schedule or missing out on a small section of study, only to find that exact part shows up on the exam.

3. Skilled in singing and playing the violin
Bach Khoa is home to many guitar and music groups, and in this area, Bach Khoa students are on par with those from other universities. However, as some male students humorously say, it's 'much better now'—most of these activities are now conducted secretly with a clear goal in mind.

4. Last-minute warriors
These are students who are rarely seen throughout the semester, only showing up during exams and tests. They're recognized as 'buffs' for managing to secure scholarships, and are known for being excellent at gaming, as well as being quite sharp in various areas.

5. Strength delusion
This group of students can be quite 'dangerous' to others, and surprisingly, there are many in Bach Khoa. They always create an image of themselves as the charming, perfect hero in a romance novel, but the reality is far from it, often shocking other students—especially the female ones. In fact, female Bach Khoa students joke that even if they searched the entire school, they wouldn't find anyone like that.

6. Keyboard hero
Many are quite impressed by the eloquence of Bach Khoa students online. They're portrayed as charming, humorous, and incredibly popular with women. However, to test this, you should reconsider. Often, the online bravado doesn't match reality. When meeting them in person, these 'heroes' become silent, sometimes barely speaking a word because they're actually shy around girls.

7. Uniform team
The Bách Khoa uniform has become so deeply ingrained with the students, carrying much affection, that it is proudly worn everywhere. You can spot it on buses, at movie theaters, in the Economic University, and even at Foreign Trade University... the iconic blue shirt can be seen all over Saigon.

8. Theory class? No thanks! Staying at home is better
A distinguishing feature of Bách Khoa is that most theory classes don’t take attendance, and not every student absorbs the lessons the lecturers are delivering. So, many Bách Khoa students think that studying at home might be more effective than sitting in class all day long.

9. Gaming never gets old for students
Gaming is a well-known term among Bách Khoa students, considered a 'tradition' and a 'cultural hallmark' unique to them. Aside from the intense study sessions, gaming is something Bách Khoa students excel at, likely due to the high number of male students. It’s just another companion during their academic journey.

10. Study - study more - study forever
This is one of the typical student types at Bách Khoa. According to students here, more than 90% of Bách Khoa students must retake at least one course because the curriculum is quite challenging and difficult. It’s easy to spot these students as they often age faster due to the never-ending study sessions.
