1. Create Your Own Persona and Pretend to Be a Celebrity
It'll be so much fun with the photos you'll take after transforming into a celebrity. Put on a wig or anything that resembles hair, style it, dye it, and complete the look with makeup just like they do. You can transform into Disney princesses, singers like Avril Lavigne, Rihanna, or even Lady Gaga...
Pick your favorite photos and post them on Facebook or Instagram, creating an album to share with your friends. It might seem like it’ll ruin your image, but who knows, you could get famous for those pictures. After all, you're just killing time!

2. Get Drunk and Record Yourself
First, a warning: only those of legal drinking age should consume alcohol! Have you ever seen someone who usually looks serious, but once they get drunk, they turn into a completely different person—becoming a little "silly" and even a bit "crazy"? Or have you ever had someone say to you, "You look so funny when you're drunk"? You might then be too shy to get completely drunk in front of others, wanting to maintain your image.
So why not take advantage of being alone at home, get a little tipsy, and record yourself? You'll be at ease knowing no one can judge you. Who knows, next time you're alone, you might watch the video and laugh so hard you can't breathe. Dancing, singing, rambling... you might end up doing things you've never done before!

3. Cook Yourself a Meal
It doesn't matter whether you're a great cook or not. Just head to the kitchen and try preparing a dish you enjoy, either by using a recipe you're familiar with or one you find online. Who knows, you might end up creating something that's both tasty and visually appealing. If not, you'll only lose a little bit of ingredients or maybe ruin a pan or two.
Perhaps next time, no one will dare leave you alone at home again. Sure, it can be a bit of a chore to get into the kitchen, but cooking for yourself can actually be an unexpectedly fun experience.

4. Pretend There's a Monster Outside
I'm not kidding. Imagine there's a huge monster outside, like a dinosaur that has "escaped" from Jurassic World or an alien army that has just landed their UFO right outside your door, and you have to fight them off.
Wrap yourself in a blanket like a cape, put on a helmet as armor, grab whatever you can find to use as a weapon, and get ready to defend yourself. You can even create sound effects, like the sound of your roof being crushed, the growl of a dinosaur, or gunfire. At first, it may seem silly, but if you play along for a while, you might just enjoy it. After all, you're home with nothing else to do!

5. Watch All the Horror Movies and Pretend They're Real
Perhaps this shouldn't be on the list, as watching horror movies alone at home is usually not recommended. Why? Because even if you're watching a K-Drama, the silence around you can send chills down your spine. Add the sound of dripping water, and it could freeze you in place.
However, why not challenge your courage by doing just that? Watch a horror movie and pretend it's all real, with the monsters sitting right next to you. Try to muster up some bravery and think about what you would do if you were the victim in the movie. Who knows, with enough practice, you might stop screaming at the theater next time!

6. Exercise
Exercise is one of the best ways to escape boredom when you're home alone. Instead of letting stress build up in your mind, try exercising at a high intensity. Feeling bored at home? Perhaps you've been eating and sitting too much throughout the day.
Put on your workout gear, find a suitable exercise video, and start burning off that extra fat. You could check out 27 yoga exercises for weight loss at home, divided into 3 levels, or explore yoga routines from 20 different schools of practice to not only relax but also stay fit and maintain a balanced physique.

7. Listen to Music or Sing Karaoke
Many people often sing when they feel down without realizing that this is a scientifically proven way to reduce stress. Music has the power to work wonders for your mental and physical health. In fact, research from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden shows that simply listening to music that evokes positive emotions can immediately lower your blood pressure and reduce stress-causing hormones.
You can hum a tune in the shower or sing along to the radio. If possible, head out for a karaoke session—it's one of the best stress relievers. Singing is great for your breath, posture, heart, and immune system, so never forget to sing when you're feeling overwhelmed or anxious!

8. Clean the House
Trust me, you'll feel incredibly proud after cleaning and organizing the mess in your house. You might even convince yourself to start a cleaning service and make a lot of money from it. Before you start, take a picture of the mess and compare it to the spotless result once you're done.
You'll definitely say, "Oh my god! Look at how amazing I am! Is there anyone else in the country who can be this organized?" In the first few days, you might not want to mess things up because it looks so neat (except for those moments when you rediscover an old item and get lost in nostalgia, forgetting about the cleaning). After all the hard work, a mixture of exhaustion and excitement will leave you with a peaceful night's sleep. Tired, but worth it, right?

9. Revisit the Photo Album
Some of you might think, "Oh, what's so special about an album, it's so boring!" Well, it's true that you've probably flipped through those albums a hundred times. But there are still some hidden gems. Take a look at your parents' wedding photos and try to spot something funny, like if there was a wedding procession where they 'rode in on buffaloes,' or maybe see what's on the wedding banquet table. Sometimes, you'll unexpectedly find a few 'embarrassing' photos that you can quickly hide before anyone else sees them.
You could also post a few of your adorable childhood pictures on Facebook. It might seem a bit silly, but hey, you're home alone, so what else is there to do!

10. Call Your Best Friend Over and Cause Some Chaos
If you're lucky enough to have the house all to yourself but you're not fond of the solitude, why not invite your best friend over and do the things only the two of you can enjoy together? You could play games, sing karaoke with voices only your friend will ever understand, help each other with hairdos, paint nails, or... well, let's leave some things to the imagination!
You and your friend can stay up all night, causing all kinds of wild, silly fun without worrying about judgment or gossip from others. Just remember to keep the volume down—it's no fun bothering the neighbors!
