The COVID enemy strikes again with fury
Bringing terror, threatening our Vietnamese land
All over the world, it’s spreading fast
Taking the lives of millions of innocent people.

Thanks to the government’s firm leadership
We’ve been guided with clear direction
From the frontline soldiers to the medical staff
Our collective efforts have brought good results.

Many countries stand in awe, tipping their hats
Admiring the amazing example set by Vietnam
But recently, in Chí Linh city
And in Quảng Ninh, vigilance was needed.

COVID took advantage and began to spread again

I know I may contract COVID
But the nation calls, and I eagerly go to fight
From the borders where the virus lurks
To the airports, where it takes flight.

As a doctor, when a patient is in need
My hands wield the needle, saving lives

Once, I wore a backpack to fight invaders
