1. Poem: 'Ngày ra trường' - Hạ Quyên
'Ngày ra trường'
Poet: Hạ Quyên
That afternoon, farewells unfolded in many directions
The pages of life’s diary must turn to a new chapter
Here, unspoken bonds and fleeting moments remain
Untangled threads, still waiting to be woven into full ties
They desperately sought a shared path ahead
With heavy hearts, they spoke of parting ways
They wandered, yearning to reclaim lost days
They stumbled, unsure of their steps, lost in confusion
The cold dormitory was indifferent, offering no fond farewells
The quiet room was filled with emptiness, leaving them adrift
Life’s separations came without surprise
Yet the pain lingered, even after a sip of bitter wine
And so, reality called, and they had to face it
The age of love, like a dream, was fleeting
When the call came, they had to move forward
The once familiar streets led to monumental paths
No more illusions of thatched shelters
No love everlasting like the marketplace offers
But even as each took their own direction
How could they ever forget the farewell that evening?
In the bloom of youth, they shared both sweetness and sorrow
Like the spice that enhances the flavor of shallots
Remembering the time of 'selling sour fruits for sweet ones'
And hearing the sweetness of a pear blossom!
Even when memories fade with time
The farewell that evening, beneath the divided moon, remains etched in their hearts
How beautiful that dream, filled with anticipation
How beautiful that age, when they loved to gaze at the moon.

2. Poem: 'Chiều xuân' - Tony Bui
'Chiều xuân'
Poet: Tony Bui
Spring afternoon spreads over the violet river's face
Standing by your side, reluctant to say goodbye
The lingering kiss still intoxicates the senses
A naive heart dreams of a future full of happiness
The sweetness of love is a genuine, cherished treasure
Etched deeply within each other’s hearts
As time flows, everything changes its hue
Yet, love's heart remains strong, enduring forever
You leave, but I promise, you will return one day
I will wait, enduring the hardships of time
Then together, we will journey through paradise
Our lives will turn a page, and a new poem will begin
All the memories of you, I weave with care
Crafting a love sweater to send to a faraway land
Where spring thrives, imagining our homeland
Open the gift I have sent, my dearest...

3. Poem: 'Hạ ơi!' - Lợi Nguyễn Thành
'Hạ Ơi!'
Poem: Lợi Nguyễn Thành
A purple flower smiles softly
A garden of purple blooms, recalling the one who admired them!
Spring departs, leaving behind March's embrace
Summer arrives, bringing with it the serenade of cicadas...
Goodbyes as the red phoenix flowers fade
We gaze at each other, our hair lush and green
Now, the summer sun is fragile and fleeting
We meet again, yet our hair has turned to silver...

4. Poem: 'Hè về nhớ bạn' - Phạm văn Xuân
'Hè về nhớ bạn'
Poem: Phạm văn Xuân
A sudden rush of nostalgia as I watch the Phoenix petals fall
Remembering that summer, the memories linger endlessly
Saying goodbye to old friends, my heart heavy with longing
Parting from a loved one, my soul in turmoil
We had promised to reunite come autumn
But why does winter still feel so far away?
Who stands waiting at the schoolyard, waiting for whom?
Receiving this letter, do you remember this place?

5. Poem: 'Đưa tiến' - An Giang Bùi
'Đưa tiến'
Poem: An Giang Bùi
On the day of parting, Mother stood by as her daughter carried the child
Holding her little one close, Mother tearfully bid farewell
Nine years have passed, where Mother has toiled in the fields
Raising her child, month by month, year by year.
The army returns, and Mother guides her child to meet them
She watches with joy as the people laugh and converse
The evening sun has begun to wane, its golden light dimming
Mother tells her child, 'Wait a little longer...'
On the day we bid him farewell, Mother didn’t carry the little one
She longed for him, yet he hadn’t done enough to ease her heart
Her eyes red from crying, she embraced her child tightly
Her frail arms, like the bamboo branches by the gate.
The days passed, and Mother and I grew weary
Waiting for him to return, each second felt like eternity
Our love for him burdened our weary shoulders
Mother's back grew a little more bent with time.
Summer turned to winter, the cold winds biting
Mother and I eagerly awaited news of him
Counting the days, she said, 'Ten years have passed'
Not a single New Year has he spent with us.
This winter seems to bring an even sharper chill
In the deep forest, I wonder if he is cold?
Mother, in shock, received the new year's first news
A small piece of paper told her he was gone.
He sacrificed himself so that spring could bloom
So that children could run to school with joy
So that lovers could reunite with their loved ones
And so that laughter would no longer be interrupted.
For years, Mother remained silent, lost in her thoughts
She grieved for her daughter-in-law, unable to hold back her tears.
Until the day she saw her daughter off to her new home
Mother smiled, calling her 'my daughter' once more...
As she left, her daughter looked back
'I’ll come back to visit you, Mother dear.'

6. Poem: 'Hạ thương!' - Hoàng Minh Tuấn
'Hạ thương'
Poem: Hoàng Minh Tuấn
Remember that summer when we had to part ways,
The sunset seemed still intoxicated by the summer heat,
The entire street was bathed in a crimson hue,
What did the phoenix flowers whisper, as their petals danced away!
The breeze returned, stirring up the passions of yesteryear,
The slanted moon stirred in my heart a longing ache,
The fragrant lotus carried its scent on the wind,
All the love still lingers, my dear!
My heart wavers, caught in a memory,
Morning dew clings to my lashes,
The moon that night bore a sorrowful glow,
Echoing the sound of a heart filled with unresolved emotions...
Now that I’ve returned, do you still remember, still care?
Did our love ever ignite such passion?
Does the breeze softly kiss your lips in secret?
And so, we remain...
In the warmth of a 'HẠ THƯƠNG' summer!

7. Poem: 'Thôi đành chia tay' - Cúc Họa Mi
Goodbye, Parting
Poem by Cúc Họa Mi
I apologize for the old memories of love,
That now rest quietly behind the hills,
Years of passion and distance,
Now transformed into memories, bidding farewell.
The affection, the quarrels, though tears were shed,
Have dissolved into exhaustion and sorrow,
The color of your lips has faded,
Why blame the butterflies for their farewell scent?
Now, I write my heart’s thoughts,
Sorry for the anger, the sorrow I carry...
The bond has broken, leaving me with regrets,
Half of my life wandering in guilt.
Consider this a love lost, a broken thread,
Not your fault, nor mine, but just fate’s fragile weave,
Let’s end this, and part ways... farewell.

8. Poem: 'Village Love' - Phạm Quang Thu
'Village Love'
Poem by Phạm Quang Thu
It’s fate that brought us together,
Only to separate with sorrowful hearts,
Not returning to the familiar places,
But hoping to meet again, to sit together!
Sitting together, free and happy,
After parting, still remembering, with yearning!
Oh, the twists and turns of love’s path,
Gray hair bearing the weight of a troubled heart.
I glimpsed you by the village shrine,
Afraid to meet your gaze, I quietly returned home,
Only to wander back out again,
But you were no longer there, and the sadness lingered.
Oh, the sky remembers and loves us,
As the rain soaks through the bonds of our hearts,
My child has grown, so beautiful, so wise,
Your child now understands the language of love.
Our children don’t understand the complexity of life,
But they still play together like old times,
You greet your child wherever they go,
But I can’t bring myself to even say a simple greeting.
Because love has no end,
And the yearning for you, remains... a love lost in the village.

9. Poem: 'A Time We Loved' - Cảnh Hưng
A Time We Loved
Poem by Cảnh Hưng.
Has our love come to an end, my dear?
When the heart has turned to stone, cold and unforgiving
I count the hours late into the night, staring at the sky, asking myself,
What fire or smoke consumed the dream of love we once shared?
I recall one afternoon, with the sky a soft purple and the rain falling gently
You, shy and hesitant, reached out and took my hand
Just a brief touch, but my heart burned with the intensity
My blood raced, my face flushed, my legs weak with emotion.
One word, 'I love you,' but my lips struggled to say it
Imperfect, I gazed at you with longing in my eyes
Were you unaware, or simply pretending not to notice?
You asked coldly, 'Isn't it cold tonight?'
Tonight feels desolate, as I stare into the boundless dark
Echoes from the past stir within me, rising from the depths of my soul
Memories of a time long ago return, vivid and unrelenting
And they persist, haunting me without end.
You have gone to your husband's home, far away
Are you happy, or is there bitterness in your heart?
When the night falls and silence takes over,
I remember you, distant, and tears fall from my eyes.

10. Poem: A Poem Left Behind - Chu Minh Khôi
A Poem Left Behind
Poem by Chu Minh Khôi
I search for the summer
On an afternoon with no cicadas singing
I seek the flame tree's blossoms
When the pride of the purple flowers blooms red.
The ban flower keeps its eyes open, awake
Its petals weeping words of goodbye
Weeping willow hair sways with the song
Lulling the lotus flowers to sleep.
Don't carve love into the trees
Don't cast your affection upon the grass
A kiss unspoken, lost in the breeze
Fades away in the lake full of water.
Do not cling to the clouds, my dear
Do not weep for autumn before its time
Tomorrow, we will part ways
Our hearts scattered by the winds.
If you're sad, sing your heart out
Don't hold on to the words of parting
Tomorrow, we will be apart
The lecture halls will weep in silence.
Where can we find the color of flowers
The violet hue of memories creeping in the afternoon
The purple flowers in our notebooks
Reminding us of our student days.
I turn over the memories of a restless time
The years gone by without peace
Please help me find those old days
And send them back to the land of no name.

11. Poem: The Sad Wing - Nghiêm Mẫn
The Sad Wing
Poem by Nghiêm Mẫn
We part ways, go ahead, my dear, go away
Leave me alone with the pain of love
In the final moment, I realize my foolishness
You are innocent, pure, to the point of breaking my heart
I always dream, and I still always hope
To hold you in my arms, with yearning so deep
Our hearts singing in unison
So that the tree of life may forever remain green
But our love is not like that, oh dear
And life is not as simple as it seems
In the final moment, our hearts beat out of sync
Leading us both to separate paths
Do not be sad, can you see out there
The sky remains blue with hope's hue
I pray that you meet the lover of your dreams
We part ways! Goodbye, the sad wing.

12. Poem: JUST II - Ngô Quang Tuấn
JUST II
Poem by Ngô Quang Tuấn
Just a streak of sunlight at the horizon
Why does parting still leave us tangled in our hearts?
Just the fresh green of the areca palm
When paired with the betel leaf, it turns to ink
Just a tiny wish
A lifetime spent, never fulfilling the dream
Just a moment of childishness
Anger turned both banks of the river of our homeland
Just years of passionate pursuit
When I left, forgetting the way back to you
Sadness and joy entwined
Now you understand the essence of our love
Ngô Quang Tuấn
