1. Teacher's 8/3 Speech #2
Dear female staff, teachers, employees, and beloved female students,
On this special occasion, as women across the world, including in Vietnam, celebrate International Women's Day (March 8th, 1910 – March 8th, 20...), and honor the uprising of the Trung Sisters, I extend warm wishes to all female delegates, teachers, staff, and students at our school.
Throughout Vietnam's history, women have always played a vital role in shaping the nation, contributing greatly to the rich traditions we hold dear. The phrase 'Heroic, Unyielding, Loyal, Capable' encapsulates the remarkable legacy of Vietnamese women, intertwined with the spirit of our people.
The success of Vietnam’s revolution and its social progress have been fueled by the active participation of women, and their continued development has met the growing needs of the country. As President Ho Chi Minh famously said, 'The beautiful and prosperous Vietnamese land is made even more so by the hard work of our women, young and old alike.'
In this new era, Vietnamese women continue to excel in various fields such as politics, economics, culture, and security, driving the country’s overall progress. At home, women remain the backbone of family life, nurturing homes and preserving cultural traditions.
For nearly 30 years, our school has produced countless successful women – scientists, business leaders, politicians, and educators – with special mention to our dedicated teachers.
On this International Women's Day, I offer my heartfelt wishes to all the women here – the mothers who raised our students, and the students themselves – for health, happiness, and success. May the female students of our school continue to shine as beautiful flowers of knowledge.
Thank you!

2. Principal's 8/3 Speech #1
Dear esteemed guests,
Dear teachers, student teachers,
Dear students,
The spring rains are still pouring across the land, bringing joy to the natural beauty that blends with the pride of humanity on this great celebration—International Women's Day, 8/3. Today, our school is hosting a gathering to celebrate the anniversary of International Women's Day 8/3 and the commemoration of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising. First, please allow me to extend my best wishes to the Party Committee, the school’s leadership, our esteemed guests, and all the women here.
Dear distinguished guests, teachers, student teachers, and students,
March 8th is a day to honor beauty and affirm the role of women in society and life. It is a time for women to receive all the love and attention from society, family, community, and loved ones. To remember, to be grateful, and to be proud of the illustrious history of the international women’s movement and Vietnamese women, let us reflect on the tradition of International Women's Day.
The history of March 8th began with the movement of textile workers in the United States in the late 19th century. On March 8, 1857, female textile workers in New York stood up against their poor working conditions. Two years later, these women formed the first union, gaining some rights and protections.
Along with the growing strength of the global women's movement, in Vietnam, after the success of the August Revolution in 1945, the Party and President Ho Chi Minh paid great attention to the Women's Union. In 1948, the Vietnam Women's Union became an official member of the World Democratic Women's Federation. Through its contributions during both the resistance wars against French and American invaders, Vietnamese women played a significant role in the global women's movement by their brave and resilient struggle for the independence and freedom of their homeland. The image of Vietnamese women has been recognized and admired worldwide.
Dear guests and all the women here,
Alongside the world’s celebration of International Women’s Day, in our country, March 8th holds a special significance, marking the Hai Ba Trung Uprising of the first two female generals of our nation (which took place in March 40 AD). From the dawn of history, the Trung Sisters fought to expel foreign invaders and defend our country. Trung Trac and Trung Nhi were twin sisters born to the Lac General of Me Linh, descendants of the Hung Kings and Lady Man Thien. Orphaned at an early age, they were raised by their mother in the spirit of martial arts, learning to plant mulberry trees, raise silkworms, and weave fabrics, but also excelled in martial arts. Trung Trac’s husband, Thi Sach, was the son of the Lac General of Chu Dien (Hanoi).
At that time, the Eastern Han dynasty ruled over our country, exploiting the people brutally. Enraged by the invaders, the two families of Lac Generals secretly coordinated with leaders across the country to prepare for the uprising. Unfortunately, Thi Sach was killed by the Han soldiers.
In response to the nation’s debt and her husband’s death, Trung Trac, along with her sister Trung Nhi, launched the uprising in the Song Hat area (now in Phuc Tho, Hanoi). The uprising received widespread support from the people, and with its unstoppable momentum, it dealt powerful blows, forcing General To Dinh to flee back in disgrace. Within a short time, the Trung Sisters' forces had captured 65 counties and reclaimed the entire territory of Vietnam, defeating the imperialist ambitions of the Northern feudal system. The success of the uprising brought independence to the country, with the Trung Sisters rising to power, establishing their capital in Me Linh, and being crowned as Trung Kings. Under their leadership, many female generals emerged, such as Thanh Thien, Bat Nan, Thieu Hoa, and Dieu Tien—women who contributed greatly to the nation’s history. Not only in Vietnam, but the Trung Sisters are also recognized globally as the first female heroes in the world to fight for the independence and freedom of their country.
Through two wars of resistance against the French and Americans, Vietnamese women continued the legacy of the Trung and Trieu Sisters, writing golden chapters in our nation’s history. Women such as Mother Suot, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Mac Thi Buoi, Nguyen Thi Dinh, and many other female martyrs became immortal symbols of bravery and sacrifice for the nation’s freedom. For a long time, Vietnamese women have played a critical role in preserving and building the country. They have preserved the cultural heritage and contributed to the development of society in modern times. Women are not only homemakers but also key contributors to labor, knowledge, and efforts in various fields of life.
Dear guests, and dear women,
To further strengthen and achieve higher success in patriotic emulation movements, and to celebrate significant national holidays while actively contributing to the school’s success in completing all tasks, the Women’s Union of the school will implement several key emulation activities in the year 20... with the following main objectives:...
We believe that, with the Party Committee's attention, the school leadership’s support, and the cooperation of our male colleagues, the women will work hard to fulfill the emulation goals and actively contribute to the school’s success in every task assigned.
Finally, on behalf of all the women in the school, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to our esteemed guests and male colleagues for their care and the beautiful feelings they have shown towards us. I wish you and your families good health and happiness. I wish the women a joyful and meaningful 8/3 celebration.
Thank you sincerely, dear guests, and all the women!

4. Speech for International Women's Day by a Male Employee
Honorable delegates,
Dear all the women present,
Every March, as spring's warmth embraces us, women around the world eagerly gather to celebrate International Women's Day on the 8th of March.
Since birth, each of us has had a precious woman in our lives—whether it be our grandmother, our mother who worked tirelessly day and night, devoted to her family, or the woman who laid the foundation for our lives. These women helped shape our character and raised us with love, instilling hope and dreams. They taught us the values of gratitude and respect for our parents, the pillars of every family.
Honorable delegates,
Dear all the women present,
In this country, through centuries of war and hardship, Vietnamese women have continually risen above, proving themselves to be resilient, strong, and beautiful, like lotus flowers growing from the mud. They have played an essential role in preserving and developing our cultural heritage. Vietnamese women have nurtured and raised generations of heroes. They have contributed immensely to the growth and development of society.
Men use the 8th of March as an opportunity to show their admiration and respect for the women they love. In this busy world, women are celebrated on this special day for all their hard work and love, recognizing their roles as mothers, wives, and caregivers.
Modern women are not only caretakers in their homes, but they are also essential contributors to the workforce, playing a crucial role in the progress of society. They manage the responsibility of raising children while continuing to excel in many fields. They aim for success, greater confidence, and beauty.
Women continue to make valuable contributions in every sphere, using their intellect, labor, and determination. However, inequality and gender violence persist in some parts of the world, and these issues need to be addressed globally.
Honorable delegates,
Dear all the women present,
On the occasion of International Women's Day, I would like to extend heartfelt wishes from all the male staff members to all the women here. May you always be happy, healthy, and continue to thrive in every role. Your strength and devotion are the solid foundation for men in this world. I wish all of you joy and happiness on this day, and may your families always be filled with love and harmony. May our entire workforce remain united, strong, and successful.
Thank you very much!

5. Speech for International Women's Day by Parent Representative
Honorable delegates,
Respected teachers and staff,
Dear parents,
March has arrived, bringing with it the scent and colors of spring, filling the air with joy. During this joyful season, XXX School is hosting a gathering to celebrate International Women's Day and the 1970th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Rebellion, with the aim of strengthening the bond and unity between the Parent-Teacher Association and the school's staff.
The writer VíC TO HUY GÔ once said, "You admire a star for two reasons: one, because it shines, and two, because it is beyond comprehension. But beside you, there is a softer and more mysterious light, and that is the woman." Women hold an incredibly important role in society. At home, they are caring wives and gentle mothers; in the workplace, they are intelligent and tactful. Wherever women are, they enhance society and are indeed the treasures of the world.
On this joyful day, I am truly honored to represent the Parent-Teacher Association in congratulating all the wonderful female teachers who excel at both their professional and household roles, embodying the dynamic, creative, loyal, and hardworking spirit of Vietnamese women during this period of innovation. I hope that you will continue to thrive as successful women and happy mothers and wives.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, I send my warmest wishes to all the women here. May you always be healthy, filled with joy, and surrounded by happiness. Please accept these beautiful flowers as a token of the heartfelt appreciation and respect that we, the parents, have for you.

8. Best 8/3 Speech in the Workplace
Honored delegates, and all the ladies here today!
It has become a tradition, every year on March 8th, that women around the world, especially Vietnamese women, joyfully receive greetings, affection, and love from men. Moreover, this day is an occasion for men to honor and be proud of the role, position, and significance of women in both the family and society. Today, as we celebrate the International Women's Day and the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, I, on behalf of the Party Committee and all male colleagues at the office, extend our heartfelt wishes to all the women present. We wish you everlasting health, happiness, and a life filled with love, and may you receive many special gifts and bouquets from your loved ones, family, and colleagues.
International Women's Day is the result of the long and silent struggle of millions of women worldwide over centuries. Through their courage, perseverance, and sacrifices, they have ultimately triumphed and fought for gender equality. In Vietnam, the image of our first mother, Au Co, has long symbolized gender equality in her partnership with her husband to establish the nation. Later, the two legendary female generals, the Trung Sisters, led the people in rebellion against foreign invaders, marking the beginning of the Vietnamese women’s powerful legacy in the fight for national independence. Throughout the thousands of years of our nation's history, Vietnamese women have continually strived and proven themselves with the eight golden words gifted by President Ho Chi Minh: "Heroic – Unyielding – Loyal – Capable."
Today, in the ongoing mission to build and protect the country, women continue to uphold the admirable traditions of our gender. Women are increasingly striving to develop their talents and intellect, contributing to the nation’s progress, with many women making a name for themselves in all fields: politics, military, economics, culture, and diplomacy. They have affirmed their position and reputation in both regional and international arenas and proudly stand shoulder to shoulder with women from advanced nations worldwide.
As for the women in our office, we have ... women staff members, comprising ...%. This reflects the increasing number of women in administrative positions within government agencies, and their vital role in advising, managing, and executing tasks within our organization. Over the past time, together with our male colleagues, the women in the office have consistently shown creativity, excellence in their work, and dedication to professional development. Through the movement "Good at public work, excellent at home," our female colleagues also actively engage in social activities within the office and excel in their duties as wives and mothers, striving to achieve "cultural family" recognition within their communities.
Dear colleagues and ladies,
Seeing the achievements of the women here today, I hope that you will continue to strive and put forth your best efforts in your respective roles; work together, support one another, and remain energetic, creative, and passionate in your work to help the office perform its role in advising, proposing, and ensuring effective administrative functions in our local government.
Furthermore, I encourage all of you to continue embodying the values and traditions of Vietnamese women: "Confident – Respectful – Loyal – Capable," so that you may balance your duties at home and work, living up to the standard of being a woman who is "Good at public work – Excellent at home."
Finally, I wish all the delegates, guests, and "queens" present today a wonderful day filled with health, happiness, and success. I would also like to send my best wishes to the mothers, wives, and daughters in your families, wishing them a joyful and warm March 8th, as they continue to be the eternal "firekeepers" of family and life.
May our celebration today be a great success.
Thank you very much.

9. 8/3 Speech by the Women's Union President
Honored delegates and ladies!
This spring, we celebrate ..... years of March 8th, a day chosen by the 2nd International Women's Congress to commemorate as International Women's Day, a day of solidarity and struggle for working women, with the slogan: 8 hours of work, equal jobs, and protection for mothers and children. Over a century of relentless struggle for the equality and freedom of women worldwide, March 8th has truly become a celebration for women across the globe, all striving for Equality - Development - and Peace. For Vietnamese women, March 8th also marks the anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising - a heroic event in the history of our nation and humankind. This rebellion made its first mark in the history of resistance against foreign invaders, showcasing the immense strength of Vietnamese women, who were not only skilled in production and courageous in battle but also capable of leading their people to defeat a far stronger enemy. This is the endless glory and pride of generations of Vietnamese women.
Dear delegates and ladies,
By reflecting on the glorious history of Vietnamese women and the international women's movement, we continue to honor and appreciate the immense contributions of Vietnamese women over thousands of years of building and defending the nation. Today, it is also a moment for women to recognize their vital roles and responsibilities in this era of national industrialization, modernization, and international integration. This year, our celebrations of International Women's Day and the Hai Ba Trung Uprising are even more meaningful as they coincide with other significant historical and political events of our nation: the anniversary of the victory at Dien Bien Phu (07/05/1954-07/05/20...), the liberation of Hanoi (10/10/1954-10/10/20...), and the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army (22/12/1944-22/12/20...). For us, there is also another special occasion to celebrate - the anniversary of the birth of the Trung Sisters (01/08/14-01/08/20...) and the mid-term review of our activities. These events serve as powerful motivations, encouraging all women in our district to join in the efforts for good deeds in honor of these occasions.
In these days, together with the women of Hanoi, women across the Cau Giay district have been organizing meaningful activities: such as the Green Chung Cake Festival in spring ................, the launch of the Urban Order and Civilization Year 20..., and many other projects like 'For the Homes of Poor Union Members', the 'Action Program for beloved Spratly Islands', and numerous practical works initiated and executed, including today’s event as a highlight of these efforts.
At today's International Women's Day celebration, we gather talented individuals, selected from the 20..... Folk Song and Lullaby Festival, organized by 100% of our Women's Union branches to commemorate this March 8th. This initiative is a cultural measure to encourage and guide healthy, meaningful activities while promoting a centuries-old musical genre, rich in vitality, preserving our national cultural identity, and enhancing the educational efforts within the women’s union of our district.
Dear leaders,
Dear delegates,
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
Once again, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Women's Union of ........., I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the honored guests and delegates present today. With joy, pride, and confidence in the new development of the women's movement in our district, I officially declare the opening of the ..........th anniversary celebration of International Women's Day. I wish the festival great success! Thank you very much!

10. March 8th Speech by the Top Leader
Honored delegates and all the women present!

In the spirit of this joyful occasion, on behalf of the Party Committee and all male colleagues in the office, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all the women: may you remain forever youthful, healthy, and full of happiness, surrounded by love, receiving beautiful bouquets from your spouses, relatives, and colleagues.
Dear comrades and ladies!
Throughout the long history of our nation’s development and defense, women have always played a significant role, contributing greatly to the building of the nation’s proud traditions, while also creating their own legacy. The eight golden words “Heroic, Unyielding, Faithful, Diligent” capture the essence of the remarkable traditions of Vietnamese women. These traditions will forever be intertwined with our national heritage.
Today, in the mission of building and defending our country, women continue to push forward, striving for self-improvement, education, and contributing their talents and intellect to the nation. Many women have risen to prominence in fields such as politics, military, economy, diplomacy, and culture, affirming their position and reputation both regionally and internationally, proudly standing shoulder to shoulder with women from advanced nations worldwide.
In our office, we have ... female employees, making up ...%. This reflects the growing representation of women in public administration, where they play a crucial role in advising and managing office operations. Recently, alongside their male counterparts, the women in our office have shown exceptional dedication, creativity, and excellence in their professional duties, research, and skill development. Through the “Good at Work, Great at Home” initiative, they actively engage in social movements, fulfilling their roles as wives and mothers, striving to earn the title of “Cultural Family” in their communities.
Dear comrades and ladies,
On behalf of the Party Committee and all the male colleagues in the office, I wholeheartedly commend the outstanding efforts and significant contributions of our female staff in supporting the office's advisory and planning functions. Their work has greatly contributed to the practical and effective implementation of policies in our local administrative system.
I also extend my deep gratitude and trust that each woman in the office will continue to strive to be a beautiful flower, brightening the lives of everyone, enhancing the joy of families, and contributing to the country’s prosperity. I wish for the success of this celebration.
Thank you!

11. March 8th Speech by the Second Leader
Honored delegates and esteemed women present,
99 years ago, the International Women's Congress declared March 8th as International Women's Day, a day of solidarity and struggle for women, with the slogan: Eight hours of work, equal employment, and protection of mothers and children. Since then, March 8th has become a global celebration of women’s unity in the fight for liberation, gender equality, and the advancement of women worldwide, with celebrations growing richer in content and form.
In Vietnam, March 8th also commemorates the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, led by the two female national heroes who fought to expel foreign invaders and reclaimed the sovereignty of our nation. Today's celebration is an opportunity for all of us to take pride in the heroic spirit of the Hai Ba Trung sisters. Their legacy leaves a shining example for us all, showcasing the strong will and pride of Vietnamese women, and this legacy continues to inspire the women of Nguyễn Trãi Secondary School, linking us to the proud traditions of our nation.
Vietnamese women have a long and illustrious history, with immense potential, serving as a driving force in the country’s social and economic transformation. Women are not only workers and citizens but also the first teachers and mothers of humanity. Their capabilities, working conditions, educational levels, social positions, and overall well-being have a profound impact on the future development of society.
Therefore, the liberation of women must be seen as a fundamental goal of our ongoing reforms and the mission of building and protecting our socialist nation. As President Ho Chi Minh once said: 'The revolution will not be complete until women are liberated.'
Women make up half of the world’s population. In our school, we have proudly placed our name on the educational map of the district and are now on par with other institutions, largely due to the contributions of our female staff. In addition to their roles in advancing education, the women here play a pivotal role in family economic development, raising healthy and well-behaved children, maintaining ethical values, preserving the traditions of Vietnamese women, and creating a peaceful, equitable, and progressive family environment.
Unfortunately, we, as leaders, have not yet created the best conditions for the women here to fully unleash their creativity. We expect a lot from you, which is to inspire you to surpass your limits, so you can stand equally with your colleagues and keep pace with modern times. On this International Women's Day, I send my heartfelt regards and best wishes to all the women here. I wish you good health, endless joy, and happiness. I also wish all delegates abundant health. Thank you very much.

12. International Women's Day Speech by Teacher #1
Esteemed guests, honored delegates, respected teachers,
As we celebrate the 101st anniversary of International Women's Day on March 8th this year, under the guidance of the Party cell, school leadership, and the Women's Union, I would like to take this opportunity to revisit the history of March 8th and the Hai Ba Trung Uprising.
The origins of International Women's Day date back to the late 19th century when female workers in the textile and garment industries of Chicago and New York (USA) fought for their basic rights. Their struggle sparked strong movements among women workers in Germany and Russia. This momentum led to the crucial task of uniting women worldwide to combat capitalist oppression. In 1910, the Second International Women's Congress held in Copenhagen, Denmark, declared March 8th as a global day to celebrate women’s unity, demonstrate strength, and promote the goals of equality, development, and world peace. Since then, March 8th has been a symbol of worldwide solidarity and the struggle for women's liberation and gender equality.
In Vietnam, March 8th also serves as a day to honor the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, led by two female national heroes who expelled foreign invaders and reclaimed our nation's sovereignty. This historical event, which occurred at the dawn of the Common Era, not only reflects the unyielding spirit of the Vietnamese people but also highlights the immense capabilities of Vietnamese women in leading the national liberation struggle and their vital role in building our nation today.
In our school, female teachers and staff play a significant role, contributing greatly to the success of our educational mission. On behalf of the female colleagues, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Party cell, school leadership, and Women's Union for their ongoing support and efforts in creating an environment where women can thrive in their teaching roles.
On this occasion, I extend my best wishes for health and well-being to the Party cell, school leadership, and Women's Union, and wish our school continued success in becoming a model of educational excellence. May the lives of our teachers and staff improve, and may women in our school receive further recognition and rewards.
I also send my warmest regards and best wishes for good health to the Parent-Teacher Association and all teachers and staff. May today’s gathering be warm, joyful, and successful.
