1. Build Connections Whenever Possible
We are living in the 'Age of Connectivity' or '4.0 Era.' To thrive, don’t overlook the importance of communication skills and relationship-building.
In today’s world, the more successful people you know, the closer you are to becoming successful yourself. Therefore, whenever you have the chance to network with them, seize it, nurture those relationships, and in the future, you will reap benefits that you might not yet see.

2. Use Money Wisely
In the book “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki, the author addresses this concept:
- Instead of spending money on liabilities (things that drain your wealth without providing returns), invest in assets (things that generate profit).
- Don’t chase money; make money work for you: The idea is that instead of working to earn money and capping your income, use the money you earn to work for you. Invest it so it generates wealth even while you sleep.
- Never let your money sit idle; using money wisely will lead to wealth.

3. Develop Multiple Streams of Income
Instead of relying solely on your labor for income, consider what happens if you fall ill or lose your job — your earnings will be impacted.
For this reason, I recommend diversifying your income sources. You need to invest, start a business, and create multiple streams of passive income. These income sources often come from real estate rentals, stock investments, and so on.

4. Save Money
It’s crucial to have an emergency fund to handle unexpected situations. Savings will help you navigate sudden challenges, such as car breakdowns, illnesses, or work-related issues. Additionally, having a solid financial plan and good insurance coverage ensures you won’t need to rely on family or friends in times of need.
Consistently saving is one of the best ways to build wealth. However, saving effectively is key. Save with the intention of investing — don’t just save for the sake of saving. Money that sits idle loses value over time due to inflation.

5. Stay Resilient, Committed, and Keep Moving Forward
In today’s competitive world, we must always be at our best. Failure should only occur in exceptional circumstances, such as missing out on your dream job or losing the person who has stolen your heart. Unfortunately, many people let such failures define them, causing both physical and mental decline.
Knowing how to pick yourself up after setbacks is crucial. Not only does it help you become stronger each time you fall, but it also guides you towards the right path in achieving your long-held aspirations.
Challenges and obstacles are your enemies—they will make you feel disheartened and demotivated. During these times, you must stay resilient and push through to move forward.

6. Treat Money Like a Jealous Lover
Money is something that affects you every day. You work for it, worry about it, spend a portion of it, and even wish for more.
Money has a unique nature—it only comes to those who truly focus on it. If you neglect it for even a moment, you’ll find it slipping away. So, be attentive to it.

7. Pay Attention to Time and Health
Time and health are finite resources. If you let any moment pass by meaninglessly, you will never get it back. To build wealth, you must use your time to focus on important tasks that add value to your life.
Don’t trade your time and effort for money; instead, use the time and efforts of others to earn money.

8. Do Everything to the Best of Your Ability
We all have essential tasks that make a big difference in our work. The key to productivity is identifying two or three tasks that contribute the most to your success. For example, which activities help you earn the most? Once you’ve identified them, eliminate distractions and focus solely on those tasks.
You must always push aside negative thoughts and financial worries, and focus fully on what you’re doing to optimize it. By excelling at those tasks, success will naturally come. Work with passion, follow your dreams, and success will follow you.

9. Always Keep Learning
There’s a saying: “Knowledge is power.” We need to continually cultivate our knowledge, not just to become stronger and more powerful, but also to improve our lives on a deeper level. The smartest people rarely boast about their intelligence or belittle others for their lack of knowledge. Instead, they keep educating themselves.
In an ever-expanding world, no one can know everything, but understanding constant change and maintaining the desire to keep learning about the world around you will ensure you stay on the right path.
Learning from the experiences of others helps you avoid wasting time, effort, and money on things that might not work. Learning from your own failures makes you grow, helping you avoid repeating mistakes. Remember, to succeed, you must fail many times first.

10. Never Procrastinate, Never Let Laziness Control You
There’s a saying in Vietnam: “You won’t get rich by napping, and you won’t succeed by being drunk all day.” People who constantly delay what needs to be done today often find excuses to avoid dealing with it immediately. Over time, this becomes a habit, which then shapes character, and changing it later becomes difficult.
Therefore, you must be strict with yourself—take immediate action on tasks that need to be completed. Only then will success follow. Laziness is inversely proportional to wealth. If you avoid hard work, you will never make money, never be creative, and never develop yourself further. Don’t sleep while the world works. While you’re being lazy, others are getting closer to their goals of success.

11. Define Your Vision
A vision is something not everyone is born with, but it’s something you can pursue and learn from others. Without a vision, you will lose direction, motivation, passion, and creativity...
When you develop a vision in any area, you’ll naturally feel energized, and from that excitement, you will work tirelessly, doing everything necessary to move forward.

12. Learn to Trust and Collaborate with Others
Everyone’s knowledge has its limits, so if you want to become an expert in a particular field, you must learn to seek advice and collaborate with the best people.
Only by doing so will you gain access to the secrets and skills you still lack. Collaboration is a key to elevating yourself to the next level in society.
