Yutang Dining is renowned for its authentic Taiwanese milk tea, but it also boasts a variety of distinctive dishes such as Taiwanese beef noodles, bamboo shoot chicken salad, spicy steamed red tilapia, Taiwanese braised pork rice, red rice wine ribs, and dumplings. However, what truly sets Yutang Dining apart is their craft boba (artisan tapioca pearls), a proud creation of the brand. These handmade pearls offer a delightful combination of the coolness of milk tea, the warmth of tapioca, and the soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture, all coated in sweet brown sugar.
Today, Yutang Dining remains the first and only establishment in Vietnam to create and serve artisan tapioca pearls. 10. Nik
The rainy weather makes the milk tea even more delicious. I initially thought I was getting a small cup, but it turned out much larger than expected. Normally, I pay 59k for a large cup, but here it’s only 39k with tapioca pearls and pudding. The cream cheese is rich and creamy but not too heavy. However, be warned that drinking too much can make you feel full. The black tea is aromatic and sweet, pairing perfectly with the egg pudding and chewy pearls. I highly recommend trying Nik at least once!
Finding Nik can be tricky as it’s tucked away in a winding alley with a small, barely noticeable sign. The parking area is spacious when it's not busy. Due to the pandemic, some services are limited, but the atmosphere is still relaxed and cozy. When I visited, the misty weather made the sky and sunset perfect for photos. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the drinks, including the refreshing avocado ice cream, are reasonably priced. They also offer board games for groups. If you’re feeling lazy to go out, you can easily order from Shopee Food!
