1. Poem: SPRING COLORS - Phan Hoàng
SPRING COLORS
Poem by: Phan Hoàng
Farewell to the gray winter days
With the sky dull and heavy
Welcoming the new spring season
With the sky so high and endless
Goodbye to the coldest days
With the rain that soaks to the bone
You step out into the world
Your cheeks glowing in the morning sun
The colors of spring are vivid
With the bright hues of peach and apricot blossoms
And the children dressed in new clothes
Radiating joy with every smile
Far beyond the distant horizon
The fields stretch green and endless
Listening to a song in the air
The colors of spring come alive!

2. Poem: TO BE TOGETHER - Hồ Viết Bình
TO BE TOGETHER
Poem by Hồ Viết BìnhWe met in the midst of a fading autumn
Now winter has fully arrived outside the door
The spring rain shatters with each step
As summer lingers with a hesitant, lingering breeze
The tree of love sways in the wind
As I welcome you under the raindrops that touch my lips
Why hold on to anger, autumn?
Let's be together and let life bloom with joy.

SPRING POEMS
Poem by: Duy Hạnh Trần
SPRING RAIN
The Spring rain merges with the Mother Earth
Helping the trees grow strong in the storm
The vast Sea of Knowledge for humanity
A lifetime of learning without rest.

TET APRICOT BLOSSOM
At the first hint of winter's chill, buds begin to form
The apricot branches flourish, as if dragons are flying
All creatures await the moment to arrive
The harmony of Heaven, Earth, Wind, Rain, and Clouds.

YOUNG GIRL
Nature has already determined
The spring rain gently drops its tiny seeds
Look! The young girl from Thanh Nam
Blossoms in the Tết market... uncertain, yet beautiful.

4. Poem: SPRING HAS ARRIVED - Giọt Mưa Thu
SPRING HAS ARRIVED
Poem by: Giọt Mưa Thu
Spring has arrived, do you know?
The rain drifts lightly, no bright sun to show.
How I wish we were together, my dear.
Holding hands to warm the last days of winter near.
Come back to me, my love, I plead.
Let your eyes shine brighter indeed.
So your lips bloom with richer hue,
As we nurture a love forever true.
My happiness lies in you, it's true.
I long for the kiss that once made me new.
Let's wish for our love to grow even stronger.
And weave together our dreams a little longer.

5. Poem: THE GREEN RAIN DROPS - Dũng Bụi Trần
THE GREEN RAIN DROPS
Poem by: Dũng Bụi Trần
The raindrops fall gently across life’s path
Staining my shirt, drenched in the wet aftermath.
I remind myself to stay true to my heart
The road is long, with many mistakes to start.
Tomorrow, the sun will warm the ground
My dreams will be fulfilled, joy and sorrow unbound.
Bowing my head, I gather the fallen petals
It feels like happiness has finally reached my hand.
The mist rises, flowing in and out
Clouds drifting along, swaying without a doubt.
Half of me feels sadness in the breeze
While the other half smiles, seeing the promise of the trees.
Peace fills the fading memories of the past
Wandering, the dust of life settles fast.
I forget the anger, the desires, the past woes
Releasing all the distractions that come and go.

6. Poem: SPRING - Trần Tân
SPRING
Poem by: Trần Tân
The sky is drizzling, with raindrops falling lightly
Is it true that winter has finished its fleeting play?
The golden apricot blossoms shyly unfold
While swarms of swallows call to announce the arrival of spring.
The peach flowers bloom in bright abundance
Radiantly flaunting their beauty, alluring in their dreamlike fragrance
Couples stroll hand in hand
As Spring, in her modest way, exhales a sweet, intoxicating scent.
Grass and flowers blanket the vast land
Alive with sap, swaying gently in the breeze
The soft wind carries the rain
And the drops of longing, intertwined with memories, weave together.
Spring sings as it arrives, a harmonious tune
Passionately glowing in its vibrant hue
Sharing all the affection, pouring it into one heart
As we lift the cup, toasting to love’s gentle taste.
Spring calls with open arms, inviting us
To embrace it fully, to make the world bloom anew.

7. Poem: FRAGRANT MUSHROOM - Lợi Nguyễn Thành
FRAGRANT MUSHROOM
Poem by: Lợi Nguyễn Thành
Spring, the season of love,
The "flower mushrooms" bloom softly in the mist.
The rooster crows, and you wake up,
Your heart beats, overflowing with love.
The drizzle doesn't stop the mushrooms from growing,
The misty rain moistens my eyelashes.
Every day you practice,
Does the spring rain even matter?
Look, here come the "Rice Straw" mushrooms,
They march in perfect unison,
Letting their souls soar with the wind,
They raise their heads without a glance at anyone.
The "Straw" mushrooms are like a group of students,
All in their neat shoes.
What time are you practicing?
They look so smart!
The "Fragrant Mushroom" – that's you,
Just look at how you are:
Your cheeks are flushed, hair slightly tousled,
Sweet, with the fragrance of lotus.
The "Cinder Mushroom" is dark and worn,
A servant, but so joyful,
With the house owner away,
You sneak off, eager to run.
Little "Twist Mushroom",
Small but determined not to lose.
The spring rain urges you on,
You rush out to compete.
The mushrooms walk and listen,
Whispers float through the tamarind trees,
There is a lullaby filling the air,
Like the soul of someone watching over you.
As time passes by,
The mushrooms grow old, lonely in age,
Staring at the sky as they practice,
And when the rain stops, they give a contented sigh.
The rain is gone now,
The sun breaks through like midday heat.
Right now, you are practicing,
"Mushroom Brother", have you woken up yet?
One day, during the spring rain,
The birds sing harmoniously...
The wind softly blows,
As you practice, your legs grow stronger.

8. Poem: SPRING RAIN - Nguyễn Bính
SPRING RAIN
Poem by: Nguyễn Bính
I am a young girl weaving silk,
Spending the year working with my old mother.
My heart still pure like white silk threads,
My mother hasn’t yet sold her wares at the distant village market.
That day, the spring rain was gently falling,
The flowers scattered, littering the ground,
The boat festival from Đặng village passed by my door,
My mother said: “The Đoài village singers will perform tonight.”
A love like a web spun around my heart,
I paused my weaving to admire the beautiful handwork,
It seemed my cheeks flushed with warmth,
Maybe I was thinking of you.
All the neighbors had their lights on,
I held my hand out in the rain before the porch,
The cold rain drops on my hand,
He must be coming to see me!
I asked my mother for permission to go, in haste,
She said, “Come back and tell me everything you saw.”
The drizzle didn’t soak my clothes,
Đoài village was just across the dyke.
At Đoài, they were singing late into the night,
I searched for you, not caring about the performance,
Tonight, the loom must feel cold,
The ivory shuttle misses the touch of my fingers.
I waited and waited, but you didn’t come,
Yet, last time, you sang by the village,
In the winter months, we promised to meet,
But now, spring is nearly gone.
Alone, I wandered back along the road,
It wasn’t far, just a stretch of dyke.
The thin cloth barely kept my head dry from the heavy rain,
The cold night and the loneliness made the late hours worse.
I was angry with you until morning,
The next day, my mother asked what I had seen,
I answered, “They were singing...” and then I saw,
Tears filled my eyes, I turned away.
That day, the spring rain had stopped falling,
The flowers had withered beneath my shoes,
The boat festival from Đặng village passed by again,
My mother said: “Spring is almost over.”
My dear! Spring is nearly over,
When will I ever meet you?
When will the Đặng boat festival pass by again,
So my mother can say: “Tonight, they’ll be singing?”

9. Poem: SPRING RAIN - Reverse of a Nostalgic Heart
SPRING RAIN
Poem by: Reverse of a Nostalgic Heart
Soft drizzle hurriedly flies away,
My heart has been carrying this feeling for days.
A blooming love makes someone shine,
Sweet fragrance of happiness makes my soul drunk.
My longing keeps burning, tempting with sweet words,
My eyes reveal the longing that stays within.
You return, bringing a season of affection,
My dreams of spring are filled with impatient haste.
PTDH written in Thành Nam - 08/01/2018
PS: You return, gifting the entire spring season.

10. Poem: SPRING RAIN - River of the Nine Dragons
SPRING RAIN
Poem by: River of the Nine Dragons
The wind carries the rain through the long night,
It brushes someone's sorrowful hair.
The winding path spills water down,
The sadness of the past year still lingers, not yet washed away!
Spring rain climbs the hills in clusters,
Following the cart that carries fragments of a life filled with memories.
Spring rain, heavy with longing,
Over mulberry groves, rice fields, and the soft twilight glow...
The spring rain gently rocks a dream to sleep,
A kiss that barely touches fades the dream of spring!
River of the Nine Dragons

11. Poem: SPRING RAIN DROPS - Quỳnh Anh
SPRING RAIN DROPS
Poem by: Quỳnh Anh
Since that spring, till now,
The peach tree stands, wilted, waiting for the spring rain.
I still remain in this mortal world,
Sending my love through distant clouds of Tân.
The river flows gently,
Carrying away love that once was, now indifferent.
Tiêu Tương divides the two shores,
Spring comes and goes, dreams wait in the shadows.
When spring arrives, my heart feels uneasy,
Here, the spring comes, bringing with it longing.
The flowers of the camellia bloom freely,
The branches of white apricot flowers release their fragrant scent.
The spring rain drops, softly tapping,
This spring, I still haven't seen you.
Years have passed, the pain of unfulfilled love still lingers,
Reconnecting the past with the future, I am astonished.

12. Poem: SEEING THE SPRING RAINDROP - Toan Tam Hoa
SEEING THE SPRING RAINDROP
Poem: Toan Tam Hoa
I seem to see the raindrops of spring
They have slipped through the narrow streets
The corner of the street is lively where you walk by
Each step softly touches the corner of my house
I seem to see the green sprouts sprouting
The joyful fragrance of spring is coming
As the swallows flutter together in the sky
I see the world painted with a fresh green hue
I see Spring coming, greeting the little birds
I feel love blossoming brightly
When the morning light awakens me
The golden apricot flowers eagerly bloom
I feel a burst of joy in my heart
The drops of spring from last night remain
I see you pass by, my heart is filled with innocence
I see Spring arriving with the morning sunshine!
In the transition of seasons, we hold hands
Walking on the street, joyful spring fills the air
We return together, exchanging endless wishes
In the Spring light, the faint rain falls softly.

13. Poem: RECEIVING - Hoang Minh Tuan
RECEIVING
Poem: Hoang Minh Tuan
Receiving a bit of warm spring
In the endless golden sunlight
The grapefruit flowers bloom in surprise
Spreading fragrance in the air
Receiving a little longing
From the spring rain gently falling
The trees and grasses seem drunk
Shooting new sprouts of vibrant green
Receiving a bit of yearning
So my heart is left with longing
And then I miss you deeply
To love you forever more
The dream floats, receiving it back
To forever be lost in our love
To let our love blossom
And become husband and wife!

14. Poem: LULLABY OF SPRING - Moon Anh
LULLABY OF SPRING
Poem: Moon Anh
Spring is coming near, across every path
I remember my old Mother sitting alone
Her eyes, dim, gaze towards the alley's end
Waiting for me to return and ask: “Has it come yet?”
The spring chill brings a light drizzle
The peach buds shyly open, soft as a kiss
The potted orchids bloom, their petals round and purple
Filling the air with love that has ripened over many seasons
Every spring, I remember the pickled onions
Father’s hands salted them, with a sweet, sour aroma
Since Father passed, my heart feels bitter
Tears fall silently, soaking my soul
Though we know that life is cyclical
It’s impossible to resist the changing of time
The years turn, and sadness fills my heart
Forgive me, Father, for not having repaid your kindness fully
I think in my sorrow, Father is still with me
Protecting me as if I were still a child
Soft lullabies whisper in the night
“Sleep, my child, tomorrow we’ll welcome spring!”

15. Poem: THE BUSTLING JANUARY...! - Canh Hung
THE BUSTLING JANUARY...!
Poem: Canh Hung
The weather is getting cold...
Heading out to work,
Remember to wear a warm coat
It's raining steadily, the roads are slippery, walk slowly, my dear
Don't rush, in case you slip and fall
I'm not there to help you up
My heart is filled with joy
The earth is about to welcome spring
The morning comes late, yet the warmth of sunlight fills the air
The spring rain gently falls on my shoulders
I smile absentmindedly...
Waiting for January to pass
Spring arrives at the doorstep, yet the leaves of the banyan tree are still red
Why does it try to hold on to the cold of the old winter?
Why regret
What should not be kept?
When the leaves fall from the tree, only then do the new green buds emerge!
