It's time to return home, we must go back

For I long for the hills that whisper poetry

Opening my eyes to vast open spaces

Watching storks glide in the evening breeze

The river flows, kissed by the southern winds

The gentle girls, dreamlike and beautiful as visions

They gave their lives for the peace and preservation of our country

Guarding the sea and the mountains, offering themselves

Amidst bombs, explosions, and the sound of gunfire

At the front lines, standing proud and strong

Without regret, giving their all, no matter the cost

Forever immortalized in the 20th century's story

Even through storms and cold, their smiles remained

Young men and women, in their twenties, enlisted without hesitation

Leaving behind their pens, climbing mountains and crossing forests
