1. Sanemi Shinazugawa
Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa is one of the most powerful demon slayers in the Demon Slayer Corps. Sanemi wields the Breath of Wind technique with incredible speed and superior strength, allowing him to defeat his enemies swiftly. This particular style was passed down by an unknown individual, and its techniques remind Upper Moon One of the original Wind Hashira from the Sengoku era, the golden age of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Sanemi has repeatedly demonstrated his extraordinary abilities and combat prowess. When fighting Giyu Tomioka, Sanemi was able to match the Water Hashira in battle. During the fight in the Infinity Castle, Sanemi proved his ability to eliminate demons of lower ranks with ease. What stands out the most is his ability to hold his ground against Upper Moon One, Kokushibo.
After Upper Moon One's defeat, Sanemi quickly recovered from the death of his brother and continued to aid in the fight against Muzan Kibutsuji. He played a pivotal role in taking down the demon with coordinated attacks from other demon slayers and became one of the two surviving Hashira who witnessed the conclusion of the final battle.

2. Muichiro Tokito
Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito is known as the youngest Hashira, rising to this prestigious rank within just two months of wielding a sword, thanks to his incredible natural talent and strength. His fighting style revolves around the Mist Breathing technique, a unique offshoot of the Wind Breathing technique.
Despite his youth compared to other Hashira, Muichiro is recognized as an exceptionally skilled and dexterous member of the Demon Slayer Corps. Even before becoming a Demon Slayer, he was able to subdue a demon completely using only a wooden stake and basic farming tools.
Upon activating the Demon Slayer Mark, Muichiro was able to easily defeat Upper Moon Five, Gyokko, eventually killing him even after he transformed into his true form. During his battle with Upper Moon One, Muichiro turned his sword a vivid crimson by gripping it with all his might, allowing him to halt Kokushibo's regeneration process. This moment later proved crucial in his eventual defeat.

3. Kyojuro Rengoku
Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku is a Hashira with a charismatic, kind, and lovable personality who takes immense pride in his swordsmanship. Having grown up in a family steeped in the way of the sword, Rengoku honed his discipline and rigorous training from an early age. Moreover, he is a warrior of great respect and strong moral values, instilled in him by his mother from a young age.
Kyojuro Rengoku is among the strongest swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. His combat skills are unmatched, and his technique and battle experience are second to none. His incredible strength is the result of countless hours of relentless practice, and he sharpened his swordsmanship by studying an old book after his father ceased to train him.
Rengoku's power is greatly respected by Upper Moon Three, Akaza, who believes Kyojuro has reached a near-legendary level that few can attain. Akaza admires Rengoku's fighting spirit, stating that his technique is flawless with no weaknesses. This was demonstrated when Rengoku fought while protecting Tanjiro from Upper Moon Three, Akaza, for an extended period of time, enduring severe injuries until the sunrise during the final battle on the Mugen Train.

4. Tengen Uzui
Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui is a former ninja and one of the most skilled and powerful swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. Unlike most Demon Slayers, Tengen prefers to wield two swords in his unique fighting style, combining them with his Nichirin blades. His extraordinary swordsmanship was displayed during his battle against Gyutaro. Tengen also integrates his sword techniques with demon-slaying explosives to create devastating effects, making him even more dangerous in combat.
Tengen possesses exceptional hearing, enabling him to detect sounds deep underground and immediately identify tunnels and caves beneath him while searching for Tanjiro Kamado and Daki. The Sound Breathing style, created by Tengen himself, masterfully combines his auditory ability with his sword techniques, moving at speeds that are almost impossible for the human eye to follow.
Tengen has shown remarkable feats of strength and speed. His skills are on par with Daki and Gyutaro, two Upper Moon demons who had previously defeated numerous Hashira. Despite being severely poisoned and overwhelmed by their joint assault, Tengen persisted in fighting, even while trying to protect innocent bystanders.

5. Mitsuri Kanroji
Love Pillar Mitsuri Kanroji is a central figure in the Demon Slayer Corps, coming from a family of five sisters. From birth, she stood out, being far different from ordinary people. Although she is a woman, Mitsuri possesses muscle mass far beyond that of a typical person, along with immense physical strength and an enormous appetite. Her strength even allows her to easily defeat three famous wrestlers.
Mitsuri Kanroji was originally known as the disciple of Flame Pillar Rengoku Kyojuro. However, due to her extraordinary physical traits, she eventually separated and created her own style known as the “Breath of Love.” This technique, derived from the “Breath of Fire,” is a unique art only Mitsuri can master. While the destructive power of the “Breath of Love” is slightly lower than that of the “Breath of Fire,” it boasts two significant advantages: greater flexibility and a dramatic boost in reaction speed.
The “Breath of Love” technique Mitsuri developed not only demands speed but also requires a suitable weapon to enhance its strength: an ultra-thin and flexible sword. Without sufficient agility and control over the sword’s flexibility, mastering this weapon is incredibly difficult. However, Mitsuri is exceptionally skilled, using her sword in perfect harmony with her technique. This was clearly demonstrated in her battle against Zohakuten, the strongest clone of Upper Rank Four Hantengu, where Mitsuri easily dodged Zohakuten's energy blasts and shattered his Blood Demon Art.

6. Obanai Iguro
Serpent Pillar Obanai Iguro is one of the best demon hunters and one of the nine Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps. He is also the most mysterious character, with many details and truths about him revealed only at the very end of the story. Iguro Obanai is a Pillar who specializes in the Serpent Breath technique. This breath style focuses on twisting and coiling the sword like a serpent. This technique is somewhat similar to Mitsuri's Breath of Love, but Obanai's sword is shaped like a massive snake, which forces opponents to be extremely cautious.
The Serpent Pillar possesses incredibly quick reflexes. During the battle against the demon king Muzan, when Tanjiro was about to take a fatal blow, Obanai rushed in and saved him in the blink of an eye. He even had the ability to keep up with Muzan’s attacks for a long time before activating the Demon Slayer Mark. Once the Mark awakened, Obanai’s speed became so extraordinary that he was able to sever Muzan's arms and legs. Even after becoming fully blind, Obanai could still evade Muzan’s strikes, corner him, and land a fatal blow through his body, weakening Muzan over time.
Obanai's swordsmanship is considered of the highest caliber. During the training sessions for the Pillars, he was entrusted with teaching all demon slayer swordsmen the art of wielding a sword in battle. Additionally, Obanai has the ability to perform sliding movements with the intent of bending his sword and attacking in unpredictable trajectories, allowing him to easily slip through narrow spaces, even while wielding a wooden sword.

7. Shinobu Kocho
Despite her lack of natural combat ability due to her small stature and limited strength, Insect Pillar Shinobu Kocho makes up for it with her extraordinary medical and pharmaceutical expertise. She is known for crafting various poisons and venoms derived from the Wisteria flower. These toxins are potent enough to kill demons within seconds and are powerful enough to rapidly weaken the second strongest demon in the Twelve Kizuki, Douma.
Shinobu’s body is also capable of saturating itself with poison without suffering harm. She can even resist the venom and toxins that demons produce. This was evident when she absorbed the poison that transformed Zenitsu into a Spider Demon and helped him revert back to his human form. Despite being the smallest member of the Demon Slayer Corps, Shinobu’s thrusts are incredibly powerful.
Shinobu's swordsmanship focuses on piercing techniques designed to inject poison into demons. Her thrusts are so fast and powerful that they can pierce through rocks. Her speed is regarded as surpassing that of the fastest thrusts in the Water Breathing style. The sword technique Shinobu utilizes is called Insect Breathing. Using this unique style, she kills demons by applying a poison made from Wisteria flowers to her blade.

8. Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist in the manga/anime series Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba). Tanjiro possesses innate combat skills, and in his first battle with Tomioka Giyuu, he cleverly executed a feint attack that caught Giyuu off guard.
Before undergoing his swordsmanship training, Tanjiro had an exceptional sense of smell, which was so sharp that he could detect slight shifts in an opponent's movement, known as the 'moment of hesitation.' He could also distinguish between different scents, as well as identify the position of creatures. After his training, he gained the ability to smell emotions and track both humans and demons over long distances. His combat strength and speed continued to grow, improving with each fight as he faced increasingly dangerous foes.
During his fight with Akaza, Tanjiro unlocked the ability to "perceive the world," allowing him to see through muscles and blood vessels, predict an enemy's movements, nullify their fighting aura, and boost his own speed. This ability helped him close the distance to Akaza and land a fatal strike using the Dance of the Fire God technique.
Tanjiro's mark was activated during his battle with Gyuutarou, appearing on the scar on his left forehead. This mark, resembling a flame pattern, enhanced his strength, speed, endurance, and sensory perception.
Tanjiro utilizes the Water Breathing technique, taught to him by Urokodaki Sakonji, a former Water Hashira. With Water Breathing, practitioners can increase the oxygen in their blood by controlling their breathing, improving their strength and agility against demons. Tanjiro also mastered the Dance of the Fire God, a ritualistic breathing technique passed down through generations of the Kamado family. This technique consists of twelve different movements, which Tanjiro adapted for combat.

9. Zenitsu Agatsuma
Zenitsu Agatsuma is a Demon Slayer swordsman and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. He is Tanjiro Kamado's companion and one of the main characters in Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba).
Zenitsu has incredibly sharp hearing, enabling him to detect danger even from the smallest sounds. He can also hear people's inner thoughts if he maximizes his auditory potential, and he uses this ability to locate demons by comparing sounds created by demons with those produced by humans.
Zenitsu becomes exceptionally strong while asleep. When he faces danger, the fear he experiences overwhelms him, rendering him unconscious, which unlocks his true potential. In this state, he relies solely on instinct to perform his sword techniques at their peak. However, as time progresses, Zenitsu's skills improve, and his courage grows, allowing him to perform his swordsmanship even while awake.
Zenitsu utilizes the Thunder Breathing technique, taught to him by the former Thunder Hashira, Kuwajima Jigoro. This technique enhances the swordsman's strength and speed to the level of a demon. There are six forms, but Zenitsu only mastered the first form, which is considered the most basic. He refined it to such a degree that he was able to use it against powerful demons. Later, he developed a seventh form and defeated his former mentor, who had become the Lower Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki.

10. Inosuke Hashibira
Along with the Kamado siblings and Zenitsu, Inosuke Hashibira is also one of the main characters in the anime Demon Slayer. A skilled swordsman, Inosuke taught himself the breathing techniques and developed his unique style—Beast Breathing—based on his instincts and the childhood he spent on the mountain, raised by wild boars. Thanks to this, Inosuke passed the final selection and became a demon slayer without formal training.
Raised on the mountain, Inosuke developed an extremely keen sense of touch. He can detect even the slightest vibrations in the air, allowing him to sense whether someone is watching him, especially if they harbor ill intentions. His ability to pinpoint the location of a gaze gives him a significant advantage in battle.
Inosuke is incredibly flexible and agile, capable of contorting his body to place his head between his legs. Additionally, he has the ability to alter the joints in his arms, extending his reach or adjusting his body as needed. Inosuke can even reposition his internal organs, such as when he moved his heart to avoid a fatal blow during the battle with Daki and Gyutaro. Not only is Inosuke proficient in hunting and slaying demons alone, but he also proves valuable in battles against Upper Moon demons. Remarkably, Inosuke's fighting prowess is on par with the Hashira, and he has managed to challenge the Demon King, Muzan, alongside his comrades.

11. Genya Shinazugawa
Genya Shinazugawa is a demon slayer from the Demon Slayer Corps and the younger brother of the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa. During the battle against Upper Moon One, Kokushibo, at the Infinity Castle, Genya sacrificed himself alongside Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito. It was here that he had the chance to apologize to his older brother, Sanemi, for the harsh words he had spoken before.
Unlike the other four candidates in the Final Selection, Genya is unable to wield a sword and never learned any breathing techniques. This made his path as a demon slayer far more challenging. However, he compensates with a gun loaded with ammunition made from the same materials as the Nichirin swords. Genya is able to fire these bullets with incredible accuracy at great distances. His combat style generally involves shooting for the head or neck of his target, followed by finishing them off with his sword.
Genya possesses a unique power related to eating and digestion. His jaw muscles are strong enough to chew and crush demon flesh, and his digestive system is naturally immune to their toxins. When he consumes demon flesh, his body metabolizes it and temporarily transforms him into a demon-like state, granting him enhanced physical abilities.
The Blood Demon Art, Wood Bullet, is a technique that Genya personally possesses. He merges his demonized cells with the bullets in his gun, giving him full control over the trajectory and speed of the bullets once they are fired. This allows him to direct the bullets around Kokushibo's sword during their fight, embedding them directly into his body. Once the bullets hit their target, they rapidly grow into thick branches, immobilizing the target. This strategic move played a crucial role in allowing the Hashira to defeat Upper Moon One in the battle at Infinity Castle.

12. Kanao Tsuyuri
Kanao Tsuyuri is a tragic girl whose fate changed after being saved by the Kocho sisters, Kanae and Shinobu. She later underwent intense training to become a Demon Slayer and a future successor for the Hashira position.
Kanao is the heir to Kanae and Shinobu’s legacy, having received personal training in combat techniques from both of them. As a result, she possesses extraordinary physical abilities, skills, and strength. Kanao is considered one of the most promising candidates for the Hashira position within the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro, upon meeting her for the first time, remarked that he could tell Kanao was the closest to becoming a Hashira based on her scent and the aura she gave off.
Kanao achieved remarkable physical strength through grueling training. She can jump to great heights, showcasing the strength in her legs, while her arm muscles allow her to swing a sword with the speed of sound without fatigue. Kanao can move at extraordinary speeds, as demonstrated during the rehabilitation training when she outpaced Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, even before they mastered the Concentrated Breathing techniques. During the wait for dawn, she managed to keep up with Kibutsuji Muzan’s speed.
Kanao also has extraordinarily sharp vision, allowing her to predict an opponent's next move by carefully observing subtle changes in their shoulders, gaze, toes, elbows, and knees. This ability enables her to stay ahead of her opponents and dodge attacks. During her battle with Upper Moon Two, Doma, it was noted that Kanao might be even stronger than Shinobu. This ability is further enhanced when she uses the Flower Breathing, specifically the technique: Peony's Demon Eyes.

13. Yoriichi Tsugikuni
Yoriichi Tsugikuni was a demon slayer who lived nearly 500 years ago during the Sengoku period. He is credited with creating the Breath of the Sun, the origin of all other breathing styles. Yoriichi nearly succeeded in killing Muzan, leaving him haunted and terrified for centuries.
Yoriichi is regarded as the strongest demon slayer in history, born with the demon-slaying mark, capable of entering a state of enlightenment and selflessness, and possessing unparalleled physical abilities and natural swordsmanship. Even as a seven-year-old child who had never touched a sword, Yoriichi was able to effortlessly defeat a seasoned, trained swordsman.
In his battle with Muzan, Yoriichi cornered the demon and pushed him to the brink of death. Although Muzan narrowly escaped, he was deeply wounded by their confrontation, and ever since, he viewed Yoriichi as a monster. The mere sight of Yoriichi's Hanafuda earrings would send Muzan into a state of fear. Even demons created from Muzan's blood, who never encountered Yoriichi, would instinctively recoil in terror upon seeing these earrings.

14. Gyomei Himejima
Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Pillar, is the most powerful warrior in the Demon Slayer Corps, regarded as the strongest among the nine Pillars. Kokushibo, Upper Moon One, recognized that Gyomei possesses an extraordinarily powerful natural physique, the strongest of any warrior he has encountered in the last three centuries.
In addition to his natural abilities, Gyomei's combat skills are also remarkable. He was able to hold his own against Upper Moon One for a time without using the Demon Slayer Mark. Once activated, his weapon turned bright red, and he gained access to the world of enlightenment. Despite the injuries he sustained, Gyomei contributed significantly to cornering the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji.

15. Giyu Tomioka
Giyu Tomioka, the Water Pillar, is a master swordsman and one of the strongest members of the Demon Slayer Corps. He learned the Water Breathing technique from the former Water Pillar, Sakonji Urokodaki. Giyu Tomioka mastered Water Breathing to the extent that he created his own unique techniques.
Giyu Tomioka's combat and swordsmanship skills are among the finest in the Demon Slayer Corps. His techniques have been honed to perfection. As a Water Pillar, Giyu can easily defeat lower and mid-tier demons. He can also go toe-to-toe with Upper Moon demons, as evidenced by his fight with Upper Moon Three, Akaza.
Giyu Tomioka is also one of the few Demon Slayers who possesses the Demon Slayer Mark. When activated, it grants him immense strength, causing his sword to glow red. When he strikes a demon with his red sword, he can prevent the demon from regenerating.
Giyu Tomioka wields his sword with incredible speed, dispatching enemies in an instant. To the untrained eye, it may appear as though he isn't even moving his blade. He also possesses remarkable endurance, capable of enduring long battles with stronger demons such as Akaza. The Water Pillar can persevere until the very end, even when suffering from multiple injuries.
